When I was 6 months old my real dad was taken to prison. I met him when I was 5 but didnt understand who he was til I was about 8 or 9. He got out on May 6, 2004 and was living in Florida. I went and visited him for the first time since he been released in the summer of 2005. The last day I was down there he told me that: I was the reason he went to jail. It was my fault. I was a mistake and that him and my mom didnt want me. I was never going to succeed in life just be a failure like he was. and He told me he didnt want anything to do with me. That was the first time in my life, I have ever told anybody i hate them. He hurt me so bad, I never thought my own dad would say that to me. He moved to Texas about 7 months ago and he is now married. I want so bad for him to be apart of my life, but you cant make someone do something they dont want to do. I have begged him to just take a little time to talk to me, love me, and aknowlege i am his daughter...but he refuses.

Jake - A name my grandpa gave me.
Bart - I got in high school for having short, blond and spiky hair.
Jo - I got when I was in the army because people from the south, couldn't say my last name.
JoJo - Just a morphed version of Jo.
BlackAzzJo - I got cause of my affinity for beautiful women of color.
Cpt Kirk - Again because I love women of color.
Johannesburg - Black folks in the army gave me this cause, well you know by now, it sounds like my last name, it's the capital of South Africa and they couldn't say my real name.
HotSteel - Short for HotSteelBallz, which I got from a Jerry Clower joke, come by and drink a bottle of Captain Morgan with me to hear the whole story on that one.

We ended up having sex, i had a natural attraction to this guy over the past few months, he is a friend of both my ex-husband & I. Next month i find out i am pregnant, i have always wanted another child i have one already to my ex Husband. I have decided to keep the baby. This all happened whilst we were on holiday in Australia and he and my ex hubby are over there, however my husband is coming back home to see our child for Xmas & the father of my baby! is coming over at the same time to be part of the pregnancy & we want to make a go of it and try and get together. My ex hubby is very emotional, depressed, angry & going thru the grief process, he is very much in love with me still, i don't know what he will do. Is it wise to have my new love interest (our mutual friend, who is the father of my baby) over here at the same time my ex hubby is visiting in view of all has happened. I got married when I was only 17, Then I filed a divorced at 19. My divorce took almost two years and it was just final three days ago. I have dated around and have not found any femal that I care for as much as I did my ex-wife untill I met the girl I am with now. I want to get married to her and have a child with her though I have a wonderful son three year old son with my ex-wife. I love my girlfriend but we are young. I am about to be 22 and she is about to be 19. She has never been in a seriouse relationship before me. This girl is my everything other than my son who is my number one. We have only been together for about a half of a year but I feel so conected to her. She has a good head on her sholders and is a hard worker. I tend to attract psycho femals but this one is nothing like my past girlfriends and ex-wife. She is wonderful, beautiful and her and my son love eachother very much. So, do I ask her to marry me and set a date giving more time, try to marry now, or just wait?

i have got two boys and there grandparents treat them diffrent. i want them to be treated equal but they dont. so tonight i just told them how i fill. was i in the wrong. ok i will give you a little detail i got a 5 year old and a 2 year old. they let my 5 year old stay all night with them but wont let my 2 year old. and my 2 year old crys and begs for them to let him go to there house. we live not even 200 feet away from them and when they call for the oldest one to come up my two year old crys wanting to go. there are a lot more things that they do. but anyways i had enough and i i told them what i thought i dont want my kids to fill like i did when i was young.

1) dad lied about gf and then told me
2) I was happy & excited to meet her
3) dad didn't allow me to converse when I met her
4) dad promised my oldest kid a bike & 5 months past & he got a boys bike & told my kids no & let the gf's grandson ride it (he actually put his hand out to nudge my kids back)

7) he bought a brand new car for his gf to use since her vehicle is breaking down, & my vehicle is not in the best condition either & I have his 2 grandkids in the car

Is it silly to be a hopeless romantic? I'm a girl who grew up surrounded by guys and still to this day, they think I expect too much from men.

My husband of 7 years has cheated on me through the internet, took my vehicle three states away and met another woman. He lied to me, his own family and promised to 'never' do it again. I cannot trust him. He does not give me a reason to trust him and here we are three yrs later (we have 2 kids together) and he doesn't even try to mend the mistrust. He does not communicate well, if at all and then tells me I have "issues". He found a pair of shorts in his drawer, well I put them there, they are a pair of shorts from my oldest son's friend, I believe, and they have been here for 6+ months. My son has not had this friend over for a while and the kid is larger than my husband. My husband tries to "make things up" in his head, to give him a reason to blame me for everything. Anyway, do you all think I am just wise to cut my ties and move on to someone I can trust.

She never appreciates anything you do. The only thing she cares about is you being able to get good grades and come out with a good job, so that you can support yourself and move out. She doesn't want you going out late even when you're 20(male). She thinks everything that can't make money is pointless and stupid. From NY to Va .I appreciate that my brother took in me and my kids until i get on my feet. my promblems is that my brothers wife seems to me that she does not want me there;although they beg the differ say that she wanted me to come down.but sometime i feel different. according to her that her characther of her being antisoicial is her make up.(eg) when she comes hm or when at hm w/me she does not speak to me or make a casual converstation w/me as if i were invisible. I do work, my kids are in school and aftershool daycare until i get home frm work around 6pm.. I try to kp their house clean the best of my ability..i buy food for the whole family she does most of the cookin for the the family.they complian about the way that i've clean.they're anal about keepin things clean..my brother calls me trifling b/c i don't clean the way they clean. I sleep in their living rm w/my kids. i have no other outlet to go else where.Am i being disrespectful and unappreciated to them and their house?

I had a fling/relationship with a man who's 22. He's 12 years younger than me. I'm divorcing and i have 2 young children. He's completing his last year of college and comes from another state, but goes to school here. I ended up falling for him hard and scared him away. He ended up calling and saying he just wanted to be friends right now. At first we were still talking and texting, then just texting, and during the past week I have sent him like 8 messages and he is totally avoiding me now. I know that this probably wouldn't turn into something more, but it hurts to be ignored. I would rather him say "leave me alone *****" than to ignore me. My mom works full-time and has a boyfriend that lives right in the condo suite across from us. The only time I get to see her is in the mornings when she comes home to drop me off at school, sometimes I see her for a second time in the day - sometimes.

All my mom talks about is marks and marks - she used to even physically abuse me, she still slaps me from time to time. Sometimes she comes home in a good mood and says "Valerie, do you want to go shopping?" I always feel that shopping isn't a good way of getting to know her even better, plus I'm always at the computer listening to music but also doing my homework. She sometimes sees me playing games or on msn, I don't even feel like moving out of my chair during 7PM at night and going to the mall when I'm tired. She throws a tantrum, then sometimes I throw one but I usually end up crying. On the other hand, she's always at the suite at her boyfriend's and I'm alone 95% of the time.
