What is your current or some of your past nicknames and how did you get them?
MINE:
Jake - A name my grandpa gave me.
Bart - I got in high school for having short, blond and spiky hair.
Jo - I got when I was in the army because people from the south, couldn't say my last name.
JoJo - Just a morphed version of Jo.
BlackAzzJo - I got cause of my affinity for beautiful women of color.
Cpt Kirk - Again because I love women of color.
Johannesburg - Black folks in the army gave me this cause, well you know by now, it sounds like my last name, it's the capital of South Africa and they couldn't say my real name.
HotSteel - Short for HotSteelBallz, which I got from a Jerry Clower joke, come by and drink a bottle of Captain Morgan with me to hear the whole story on that one.

Cyn~My family's abbreviation of Cynthia, close friends also call me this.
Cindy~I don't like this, but some people take it upon themselves to abbreviate my name to this!
Red~I have bright auburn hair.
Calico~While waitressing, I was dubbed this after I spoke to someone about my pets. I told him I didn't have a calico cat, but he seemed to like the name, and it caught on.
The Infamous Dr. Cyn~I earned this from dealers while I was buying/trading/selling comics. Most had never dealt with a woman, and I guess I impressed them as being sharper than they ever expected. Thanks to late nights studying the Overstreet grading and price guides, I got the price I wanted every time. If I was offered a lower amount, I started packing up, explaining that they wouldn't be taking up anymore room than before. I wasn't playing a mindgame; I meant what I said. I wasn't going to sell low unless it was a package deal. Actually, I didn't even know I had that nickname till I heard it said by one dealer to another as I closed in on the table at a fleamarket! I'm quite proud of it.
Crazy Cat Lady aka Cady~I earned these from a friend at a roleplaying site. Actually, I made the initial joke of being one of those crazy cat ladies, and she took it from there.
Mysty~A number of people have called me this or "Myst" from my screenname~"MystMoonstruck", which in roleplaying is the character Myst Moonstruck, an Elemental. I borrowed his/her name.
Gypsy Lady~I earned this at reenactment events because I wear colorful garb, with bells, beads and other decorative items, including scarves. Also, a friend and I managed to go to such far-flung events that, as we neared the site or encampment, we would hear the traders and shopkeepers call out, "The gypsy ladies are here! The gypsy ladies are here!" I confused them by attending by myself several times and was greeted by, "The gypsy lady is here! Where's the other?" *giggle* I always play my bowed psaltery and had found a spot to do so at one event. Later, while sitting on the porch of a log cabin and playing, I was approached by a woman who asked, "Are you the gypsy lady? The woman at the camp over there wants you to come back to play." So, I guess that's an official designation.

My husband and all our friends call me Mika or Mikaiyla (my character name from an online game we all play).

All my cousins call me Binky.. they say it's because I am short and cute and it just fits.
