I'm single financial struggling have been dating for the past 27 years,she is intellegent,but is now suffering from pain on her body,should I be looking for some other young person,when Im or we are of beyond 50 years old. Is there hope for me,shall I start looking, or callit quits. Hope and despair?

I love my bf very much, and we are engaged. We've been together for 8 months and the last couple of months I've learned some things about his personality that I dislike. I still love him, but I find myself not liking him very much as a person sometimes. He could easily be classified as an a--hole when it comes to how he treats people sometimes. And I never really had much of a problem with it because he never directed any of that towards me. Until recently, I've been seeing that a--hole behavior come out at home and I don't like it. I am a very laid back, non-confrontational person, which is what he described himself to be when we first got together. The truth is he is not that way at all. It is impossible for me to try to have any sort of discussion with him without him trying to turn it into an argument. He is very judgemental and pig headed, basically his way or no way. I am starting to feel it's not in my best interest to marry him. He's also controlling, opinions please

I've been with this guy for 5 years now and we have a 10 month old daughter together. I don't know why every time we have a fight he always wants to split up. It doesn't matter if its something big or nonsense. We use to live in together until i moved back to the US just to work so i can bring him here. Every time we argue he keeps telling me he doesn't want to be with me anymore and that i should just forget about petitioning him. I fell in love with my girlfriend, and I thought she was in love with me until today. Everything was great a week ago. Everything that's happened led me to believe she wanted to be committed. She had quit her job, and applied for an internship, but she found out this week that they didn't accept her. So she's been depressed, says her life has no direction, etc... And today she said she didn't know if she loved me or not. I sense that she wants to let me go. She says she's not used to having a "good" relationship and has never been in love before (she's 27, I'm suprised at that), used to being single (even though she hated it), so she doesn't know what she feels. I understand she's unsure with her life, but I don't know why that extends to our relationship. I've only tried to support her and be there for her.

I don't know what to do. I don't want to break up, neither of us did anything wrong. I love her, but now I'm not sure if she loves me back. It's driving me crazy.

Ok, I have a younger sister whose 11 ( for any who are confused she has asked questions on here b4) I am 13 her older sis. Ok, well its like when I just want to talk to her she screams and yells at me. And when EVERYONE else talks to her she is NORMAL. This has just started to happen. It's also getting worse. And I know I haven done anything lately to make her this upset with me. It kinda bothers me we have ben really close our whole lives and well now its like she hates me. Okay I'm 15 and my boyfriend is 17. My mom doesn't care that he is 17. She use to like him but just out of the blue she starts to not like him no more. Not only does she not like him but my friend (only one of them) don't like him either because she says he is not "her" type. She had an affair that cost her their marriage. My husband still lets her call him and email him only at work. She tries to break us up, has caused problems with his family using me as a pawn and uses the children to manipulate situations, like turning them against their father if she doesn't get her way. They have been so brain washed against me that I fear a healthy relationship with them is years away...I am patient though with them. My question is, I have begged my husband to stop the contact only at work with her because she causes problems for us when this happens...he gets very angry at me for bringing this up and tells me that I want him to loose his children...I just want the manipulation to stop and it won't unless he changes something. I didn't know it was going to be like this when I married him....I am constantly being the brunt of situations when I haven't done a thing but just be alive..what can I do to get him to realize how bad this is?

i have been dating someone for a few weeks, and things have been amazing. he is funny, caring, smart, helpful, thoughtful, and good looking. we have amazing times together and had been spending a lot of time together. he had just gotten out of a four year relationship (but that past year has been on and off) with another girl. she still calls him and is very persistant about getting back together.

one night he told me that he had went and met her for a drink and talked with her. the next day i told him i wasn't comfortable with that and that he needed to make a choice either stop talking to her or i would stop talking to him. he choose to stop talking to her and keep talking to me.

a week past, and we had spent every single moment together it was great. then came monday and he told me he finally talked to her and it was hard.

he said he is unsure of what to do. he ulitmately said he wants to date me and things to move forward, but i am worried. what should i do?

My mom got another job across town so we are moving in January. I'm a junior in high school and I want to stay and graudate from the same school I'm already at. The city we are moving to is about 35 minutes away and I offered to get up earlier to take the subway to school but she said no. It's like she doesn't understand. Plus, I'm already captain of the gymnastics team here and I can't establish that status in one year at a new school! And I don't want to be away from my friends and my boyfriends! How can I talk her into letting me stay at the school I'm at!

i was helping my bf move and ever since we got together he's always had posters of hooters calander girls and stuff like that on his walls, and it kind of bothers me and he knows it but doesn't understan why...anyway he said that he had to make sure that they were the first things to be moved into his new room, so i looked at him and said what, am i not good enough, and his answer was.." no you are, but if i had a poster of you in a bikini looking sexy, then i wouldn't need the other ones, because i would always have you with me." I met this guy almost 2 months ago and we went on a couple dates and have been hanging out almost every other day since. A couple weeks ago I asked him what we were and he said he didn't know but he couldn't put a label on us because he doesn't want to feel like he has to call me every day and he's been screwed over in the past by his ex girlfriend (which has been quite a while since they broke up) Anyways, we've been sleeping together and had a conversation where he said he would feel guilty doing anything w/ any other girls. He's been calling me a lot more since then as well and has been very sweet. However, I really would like a commitment from him at some point. I feel like we are basically "boyfriend/girlfriend" just don't really have the title. I know this isn't exactly EXTREMELY important to have but I guess...what should I do? Should I bring it up again or wait for him to do it? I don't want to be strung along without any exact commitment. What do you guys think?
