Only two reasons for it. Either he cannot get it up or he is having an affair with someone else.
He has a health issue and cannot get it up or has some sort of infection or.. he is having an affair and has the guilt of not being able to sleep with you.
I would think you would have said something before 15 months!
Have you confronted him on this? Have you ask him why?
I would love to know his answer. You never said how old he was either and without more info on it then it would be a hard question to answer.
If he is fairly young then I would say he is having an affair because no young guy would stop having sex unless you hurt his feelings in bed. What I mean by this is like putting him down in some way and making him feel he is not good in bed. This would be the only reason he would stop unless he was ill or having a affair.

You can guess about it and fret over it from now until the end of time. The only way you are really going to know is if the two of you sit down and talk about it like adults.
It could be he is having some problems in that area and is just too embarrassed to tell you and doesn't know what to do about it. There are all kinds of meds for that these days.
It could also be some bad things, which I am sure is what you are worried about. Make sure you are ready to hear the truth, when you ask him.

You have to ask you husband that question! Have you changed in some shape, form, or fashion in the last 15 months? Then he may be getting hes nukie somewhere else.

He has a problem like ED "erectile dysfunction" and is to shy to tell them. He is cheating and hasn't the energy for the wife as well as the mistress.
Then of course a common one he is going through a state of depression. If he has felt distant, irritable, moody and not taking care of himself and has trouble sleeping or staying awake this could be the problem. Talk to him and tell him that he needs to talk to a therapist or atleast his Dr. and get something to help him out.
Considering depression is the lead cause to suicide if this is his problem he need's to get a handle on it now.

15 months! There is something going on with him. Maybe he has another woman or man, or maybe he cant salute the flag anymore! Or maybe the wife is not attracting anymore.

There are many different reasons for this. He may be having physical problems and be unwilling to admit it or talk about it. If she has gained weight, she may be unattractive to him anymore. He may be suffering from a lot of stress from work or some other area of his life. Or, he may be having an affair. Without knowing him, I couldn't say.

Or maybe his wife is no longer attractive to him!!! Did she get fat on him or maybe her vagina got to big for him did she have a baby...that will definatly make a man not want to have sex

The most common reasons would be :
she has gotten fat and is no longer sexually attractive.
She has let her looks go in general , I.E sweats and no make up.
She is a nasty ,nagging ***** , creating an atmosphere of tension and animosity that is not conducive to sexual stimulation.
