What is it about flowers that girls like so much? Why do we expect them for dates and dances? They just die and there expensive...

No...but I do love if a guy buys me a fairy floss or a singing teddy..that would surly melt* my heart.

I've learned to never expect flowers. But we love them so much because they came from our guy, they took the time to go pick them out and send them to us. They're a symbol of affection and besides, even after they die you tie a pretty ribbon around the stems and hang them upside down. Spray some hair spray on em and wala! Beautiful dried flowers forever. :)

Well, it's sweet and feminine and there colorful.. If you ask me, I don't too much care for flowers because I have bad allergies and pollution is from flowers but I would love to accept em' from guys:)

because giving flowers are signs that the person is putting effort into a date, becuase maybe just maybe that person is very much interested and flowers are a plus!

Because girls are culturally taught to like things like this from the time they are babies. Girls are supposed to be dainty and delicate and like flowers blah blah blah... They are pretty to most everyone I would assume. No matter what their gender. But in our society, girls are supposed to like them and like to recieve them.

they are pretty, smell nice, and in some instances are exotic. Not something we buy for ourselves either, so it's a special treat.
