I'm really sorry that you kids have been brought up with such terrible attitudes towards each other. Too bad you parents didn't (for whatever reason) teach you both to be loving, supportive, affectionate, respectful, dignified, etc. - all the good stuff that seems to be missing now. Oh, you'll say "my parents did everything right" but if true, why the hostility????
Since you parents are still in control, not much you can do around there except be as kind and respectful to your sibling as you possibly can (even tho you weren't trained that way). Treat your sister the way you would want to be treated - with kindness and respect.
Show this statement to your parents! They need to know how badly they have raised you kids and maybe they will change their methods!
When you leave home, you will have a chance to undo the rotten training you've been given, re-train your self and perhaps raise your kids with love and honor instead of the crumby way you & your sister were raised.
Please have you parents read this!!!!!

She's starting to grow up. This is just a stage, and she will get over it. If she talks to you nicely, great, when she raises her voice, turn around and walk away, and don't acknowledge any thing. The key is you can't loose your temper or fight dirty, and you have to apologize if you do. Can be difficult until you see how well it works.
