I'm single financial struggling have been dating for the past 27 years,she is intellegent,but is now suffering from pain on her body,should I be looking for some other young person,when Im or we are of beyond 50 years old. Is there hope for me,shall I start looking, or callit quits. Hope and despair?

If you are thinking of dropping someone with whom you have had a relationship for 27 years because she now is in pain, why in the world do you think you are ready to make a commitment to another " in sickness and in health, for better or for worse."?
Sorry, but from my point of view, dealing with hardship, dealing with another's suffering, IS what love is about.

If you have been with the same person for 27 years, I would think that you love her. Why would you leave her at a time when she really needs you.m Have you discussed the issue of marriage with her, how does she feel? If she isn't ready to commit and you are looking for someone to share a commitment with then I guess you need to move on, otherwise give her a chance and ask her.

If you have been with this woman for 27 years, I assume you love her. If you love someone, why would you consider leaving them when they need you the most?
If you are not in love with her any more or you afraid of getting stuck caring for her and feel that you can't, you need to be honest with her now. I think it is a crappy thing to do, however.

I really cant believe you are asking this quetion. if you really love her it shouldn't matter if she is sick. it's really sad that you are thinking of leaving her because she is sick. wow. that is really sad I will pray for her.

to find that someone you must open your heart and listen
with you brain. Decide what you want in life and then go for
it above all else and you will find true happiness.
I believe we have choices - don't settle for second best.

You need to be there for her.
Help her out when she needs you the most.
