i was seeing a girl and we stopped seeing each other cause she said she fancied a person she worked with (and knew it was stupid cause nothing would probably happen there)

she taught it was unfair on me to like me (she said) and be dating me ( 4 three months) but fancy someone else and she needed time to sort it out and would get in touch when she got over him


does this just sound like a kind way of dumping someone - even if she does fancy the person at work ?

and would you be able to get back with someone if she said come back to me after doing this ???

so me and this guy stopped dating now for like 2 weeks. he sayed he needed some time, so i backed of gave him some time, but we still kinda texted and talked on the phone every now and than, and kinda meet up sometimes. but everytime we meet up we have sex. lately hes been really nice like we are dating again. but i dont wanna jump to concusions since he said he needed time. but than i keep thinking well maybe we will start dating again and be how we we're. i do ask him all the time after and when we are doing it, he says he swears he aint using me but how do i know that. please help on what i should do i really wanna be w/ him and i dont wanna loose him?

We will be putting our wedding website link in our invitations, theres an option to RSVP. Should I turn that off and just address and stamp the RSVP cards or envelopes?

Personally I think as animals it is unnatural to be monogamous and goes some way to explaining why everyone is so unhappy.

There's a girl who I know and we're good friends. Lately she's been asking me to go out with her, but I only think of her as a friend and nothing more. I don't want to hurt her feelings or ruin our friendship, but the way she's making a big deal about it, it seems like either we go out or we end our friendship. How should I tell her no?

I have been separated from my STB ex-husband for about 6 1/2 months now. the divorce wont be final until late spring or early summer. I have completely moved on from him. I have absolutely no feelings for him what-so-ever anymore. Honestly.

i have since met a new guy. we are not dating, but we both like each other very much. we are giving it some time for now. YES, he was the FIRST guy to show me any attention since the spearation, but he is NOT the ONLY guy to do so. People say "its just bc you're getting something you havent had in a while" ... but i disagree. no one knows how i feel except me.

am i moving on too fast? i feel i am ready to start a new relationship, but i am not looking to rush things. my 3-y/o daughter even recognizes that him and i like each other. she says "at least mommy has ___" (this guy's name goes in the ___). and he loves my daughter and is good to her too. how soon is too soon?

My fiance and I figure that to save money and to eliminate the number of random people at our wedding (we are planning to have a fairly intimate wedding, less than 100 guests), we shouldn't have to let our single friends bring a "plus one".

Obviously, whoever is married, engaged, or has a significant other, will get a "+ guest" on their invitation, but seeing as how all of our single friends know each other and wont feel left out without a date, we feel that we shouldn't have to spend $100+ per plate on people we don't know.

What do you think? I've heard people tell me "it's your wedding, do whatever you want", and others who say that it's cheap to invite someone without letting them bring a date. Thanks for your opinion!

I bought a car about 2months ago... I put it on my dad's name for insurance purposes... and had an agreemant to put it back on my name as soon as I got my lisence. He bumped my car while being drunk, and didn't even ask me to go for a drive. We had a really bad fight and he kicked me out of the house. He moved (I don't know where) and took my car! I bought the car from my brother in law... I have evidence that I bought it with MY MONEY. But I dont have money left to get help form an attorney... Help?

I think most can agree that's a pretty good saying right?

But why is it so hard in relationships for people to achieve that? HONESTY, LOYALTY, TRUST, RESPECT. I'm sure if ask most people that's what they want. And they'll mean it. But let still that's not how most people act. To ever increasing number of people who CHEAT these days. To just the flat jerks people can be in general.

Why is it so hard for people to treat others the way you wanna be treated?

I've seen alot of questions about this and I'm just wondering. I'm not bashing your choices, but I am curious. If you are a bride and your best friend is a guy, why won't the groom accept your best bud as a groomsman? And vice-versa if the groom's best friend is a girl, why can't she be a bridesmaid?
I don't expect my fiance's sisters to stand with the groomsmen, they will be two of my bridesmaids. Am I too old-fashioned about this? Or maybe out of touch with the current trends?
It is totally your choice, and that is your right to do with your wedding, I'm just curious.

My boyfriend of over 3 years and I had a discussion about where our relationship was going. After hearing about yet another couple getting engaged after just a year, I wanted to know how he felt about marriage and whether it featured in his plans for our future. He told me the concept scared him and he wouldn't be ready to get engaged to me for at least another few years. I was devastated, but I told him that there was nothing wrong with the way he felt it was just very upsetting for me. After a few days I decided if he was not ready to marry me, he could not be comfortable living with me and I asked him to move out. He got very upset and ended up shouting at me that if I had just been patient everything would be alright between us, because he had been planning all year to ask me at Christmas. Now, instead of buying me a ring, he's getting me a laptop. How do I get over yet more disappointment (I've had a lot in the past year) & more importantly, how do I make it up to him?

There is this girl I really like. She acts different around me than with other people. She likes to mess around with me and everything. I sometimes see her staring at me. My friend said that we should go out, and 3 of my friends thought we were going out. One day about two months ago she came up to me on the bus and asked me if I liked her. I told her i wasn't sure. Then she told me she had a boyfriend. She never acts like she has a boyfriend. She also used to be in 2 of my classes but she got transfered out of one of them. On friday I went up to her on the bus and was going to tell her I liked her but I chickened out.


So what I am asking is,

Does she like me?
Why would she say what she said, and should I believe her?
How can I tell her I like her without risking our friendship.

My sister and her husband has their 2 year old neice in thier custody Child Protection placed in their home because, they agreed to keep her. They are about to go to court to adopt her. Anyway the mother in law went by the childs fathers house and gave him a pic of her. I don't know why. The guy is in to drugs from what I heard and the mom is in jail facing five year for drugs and breaking probation. When it first started out my sister had to take the child to see her dad at whisle stop a place to visit your child while in the states custody. She didn't have anything to do with him the child stayed on the workers lap the whole hour. He all of sudden stop visiting the child until now since the mother in law gave him a pic he may start wanting to see the child again. Well I will stop rambling I wanted to give you some of the story and ask if you knw anything about custodys in LA I would appreciate it.

My ex husband and I have been split up for 4.5 years. We are talking about getting back together. He has 2 kids from a previous marriage... I admit I was not the best stepmother, I was 21 and had no experience with children at the time, and to top it off my ex husband was gone 8 months out of a year... His kids recently contacted me and want me to come back in their lives, but their mother doesn't and she let me know about it through a phone call...

Should I still try to work things out? I know I have changed for the better, I had a cancer scare that made me look at life totally different!!! and I apologized to them and they forgive me, but not their mother, I didn't beat them, so please don't be mean... What would you do in a situation like this? Go back? Or not....?

Please help :(

ok last year i lived with my mom and we were going through a hard time so i moved in with my dad and he got phisical custody and now that i got a taste of how my step mom feels about me i wanna move back with my mom and i miss my mom so much and she and my step dad love me and my mom is the worlds greatist person (to me)i love her with all my heart but the hard thing is im am the kinda girl who is always afraid to do what i want because i dont want to hurt anyones feelings and i am so afraid to ask my dad and he knows how i feel about my step mom he just doesnt know i love my mom he thinks that i hate her and i dont

ok this weekend billy for some unknown reason logged onto his very old AIM name and he looked at his buddy list and there was like 90+ people on there and 80% was girls and he seen someone that was on (a girl) and started IMing her and they talked for like 10 mins then he asked her for her myspace or facebook and she gave it to him . but he didnt have a facebook yet so he created one (he spent every waking moment on it this weekend). and then he IMed another girl that he use to have the biggest thing for before he met me . and i know he was mesaging other girls and guys on face book all weekend. so last night i found (on myspace) one guy i used to talk to a lot on the computer (befor i met billy) and i asked him and another guy that i was friends with in HS if they remembered me and that was it ! and this morning he had a fit because i messaged them and i told him that i wanted him to see how i felt when he talked to girls and he told me he was mad that that i am phsyco because everytime he talks to a girl i get that way. and he was mad that i would even message another guy . am i wrong to ?what do you think ?

My father is a fat lazy bastard with a crazy temper and no notion of logic. He just works and eats and does **** around the house. IF he cooks for anyone (although he rarely cooks for anyone other than himself) he sit at stove to cook because he can stand there to cook pancakes for all of ten/twenty minutes it would take. On his day off, he just watches TV. When he comes home from work, he pretends to read at the dinner table waiting for Dinner to be served to him. He doesn't do anything my mother asks him to~ I know the weight gain and laziness started after his father died, but that was 8 years ago! He needs help, but refuses it! Yet he blames my mother for "turning the kids against him"

I don't know what to do anymore! Any suggestions??

my bf and i are house sitting his grandparents house and keeping an eye on his sisters ( they are 15 and 17) but we are staying at his grandparents...im here alone til 6pm cuz my bf is working 12 hours today
its soo weird being here alone...and i have two small dogs but its still scary im about a mile off the road in the middle of the woods
how do i make myself not so scared this is only about the 5th time i have been here but never alone i have to do some running around and go to our house to take care of the cat but im still scared
and i have to stay or atleast not be gone very long cuz of the dogs

he broke up with me because he said he was confused and didn't know what he wanted anymore. this happened three weeks ago and the first week i tried to get him back and told him how much i love him and all that.
