I think in the long run my son will be let down and disappointed with broken promises and no visits. He hasn't come to visit once in a year. What is the right thing to do?

I was asked to be a bridesmaid in the wedding of my husband's male cousin. My husband was a groomsman. I am social with the bride- but not really a close friend. Also, the wedding date fell on my only daughter's 4th b'day. Out of family obligation, I accepted. However, a month prior to the event she told me she did not want kids at the wedding. Since both my husband and I were in the wedding, our close family members were attending, and it was my daughter's birthday- I was hurt. After consideration, I agreed to respect the bride's wishes, change birthday plans, and asked my mom to babysit. As the wedding approached, I learned that another bridesmaid was going to bring her 4 mo. old. There was also a 6 year-old in the wedding party. On the wedding day, fifteen children (ages 7-12) & 3 babies attended. My daughter is very well behaved (I know everyone says that, but I'm a school teacher-trust me-she is!), we are family, & I am completely hurt. How/Should I approach her now?

Lets sum it up. Me and this guy who works at the casino had been staring at eachotehr for a few weeks. He broke the ice with me when this one lady next to me won 2000$. 20 min later he gave me his work card and told me he didn't do this often, That I prolly hear this from alot of guys,to email him if I ever want to go out sometime. I emailed him saying I would like that. He wrote back saying im beautiful and how grateful he is I will give him a chance..and that he was shy trying to confont me the other day. He emailed giving me him # since we don't get to chat at work and said to call anytime like ..3 times. I called once a few days ago and no answer, said he was gone and sorry. He just sent me this today "Okay cool, I just didn’t want you to think I was ignoring your call.
Oh yeah & about your question – I’m about 6 foot & 1 inch tall. I felt bad one night you were here because I saw you getting on the bingo bus around the same time I was getting off work & I was going to offer you

So anyways I never ever gave him a chance to to take me out on a date until this past weekend. Well guess what, I did the deed w/ him on Friday under the influence of alchohol and pot. Now I feel a little stupid about it. He didn't call me all weekend but sent me texts about his weekend being shitty b/c of the dealership messed up his truck and he was carless since Saturday morning. He apologized via text for not talking to me all weekend on Sunday night. So my question is, how should I handle this? What would you do if you were me?

Imagine you are a 16 year old guy:
Mexican / about 5'8'' / thin / plays soccer, a little volleyball for fun / plays violin / swing dances / homeschooled (sophomore) / Catholic / good moral values / more the sensitive type / a bit picky / polite and friendly...

And you know this 16 year old girl:
White / brunette / about 5'8'' / average / plays volleyball, basketball, a little soccer for fun / plays piano / swing dances / homeschooled (junior) / Catholic / good moral values / pretty dramatic / friendly...

You have been good friends for 5 years (your families are friends). You see each other once or twice a week. You talk about music and each other's lives. You share lots of eye contact.

Would you:
a) know she likes you, but think it's weird
b) know, and think it's cute, but just want to be friends
c) know, and like her back
d) not know she likes you, and like her
e) not know, but like her as a friend
f) not know, but think she acts weird sometimes

What can I do to make my wife KNOW that I want her. In her mind, I should want sex everyday, that's how she thinks guys think/act. So if I don't want sex that day (even if we've made love the past four days), then she thinks it's saying I don't want her. FAR from it, she is everything that I've looked for in a woman and more. I'm 46 and she's 41 with the body of a 25 year old.

They have been married for 6 years prior to filing for divorce. However, now (11 months into a year manadatory separation) they are thinking of getting back together. Are there any statistics on the success rates of this reconciliation? Does dating other people during the separation impact the success rate?

The classic "Sophies Choice" question. Here is your scenerio:
An evil dictator conquers America. Your entire community has been forced to go to a concentration camp. You and your 6 YEAR OLD TWINS, one a boy and one a girl , are nearing the gate of the camp when the guard says " You can only take ONE in with you." The other will have to go to a "special"camp where that child will surely die.
Which one will you take with you, the girl or the boy.
There are no variables to this question. Most women refuse to answer, or change things like "I'd pay the guard to take them both or I'd go to the other camp so both could enter..."
You must chose which one dies.
Answer to this question will be inserted tomorrow, based on thousands of interviews.

I have a higher sex drive than he does, but we've always had a healthy sex life. Recently I asked him why we don't have sex very much. He told me it's because he's bored and not interested. I took this personally and am very hurt by it. I have always told him I am up for anything, whatever he wants to try I am willing to try too (other than a threesome, which I will NOT do). Should I be hurt and insulted by this? I have tried talking to him about it, but I don't get very far. I want to have sex, I think it's important in a relationship, but it doesn't seem to matter that much to him. Now what do I do?

My boyfriends birthday was a few months ago and I went ALL OUT! I took him to see his favorite band, made him cake, bought all this stuff for his car, and even wore sexy new lingerie! My birthday is this week and he has hardly even acknowledged it. I can tell he isn't going to suprise me because whenever i mention it he gets really awkward and says things like "umm well i guess ill figure something out..." I don't care if he any spends money... but SOMETHING would be nice!

Maybe it sounds horrible and materialistic, but is it wrong for me to be a little hurt? I think if you love someone you should find SOME way to acknowledge their birthday.

instead of worrying about what they missed out on?

Don't people constantly buy new cars even though the one they have runs perfectly fine?

Or buy a new house even though the one they have has plenty of space?

Or settle on only ONE lover for a an entire lifetime?

I'm in a group since January that does disaster relief essentially and I enjoy being in the group... I enjoy helping others but there are other groups that help others.. but I'm growing frustrated that all the relationships are only acquaintence level and nothing further has developed from it. maybe I haven't given it enough time?

I guess in general I don't follow conversations that well in a group - it works better for me in groups like this one where we are DOING something, rather than sitting in a circle trying to figure out what to say at the right time and all.. , and I think people don't really give me a chance, and if anyone were to try to get to know me one on one they normally find me to be a good person to be friends with, it's just that doesn't happen easily for me.
for whatever reason.

She met this guy while she was at work about 8 months ago. He came in for some assistance and she assisted him. They got to talking and had a really pleasant conversation. When he left he asked if he could have her number and she reluctantly gave it to him. So they became friends. He told he was in a long distance relationship. It was cool cause they were truly just platonic friends. But then he started develping feelings for her. It wasn't like he wanted sex or anything. He never pressured her or even hinted at that. She initially found him annoying and was not the least bit attracted to him, but then recently she developed an attraction towards him. She said they have the most stimulating conversations and he is such a gentleman. He calls every morning just to say goodmorning and when they talk at night he seems genuinely interested in how her day was. Now that they started having feelings for each other the topic of his girlfriend comes up. When she asked him about her he said .....
