I don't know about Answers, but my brother met his girlfriend through the 'net. They communicated through yahoo messenger and/or msn for months, before they ever met.
Are they "soulmates?" I don't know. They've been together for 2+ years.

Defiantly possible - at least you might find someone with the same outlook as you or same opinions as you have... could be a great jumping off point and just as random as finding someone at a town picnic or a club right?
I think its almost better to meet online in some cases - you get to know the person intellectually firrst without having any physical attraction getting in the way....

It's hard to tell, my friend. As to what is going on in here at YA, it is hide for most, otherwise why these nicknames and avatars? Sure there are some who is serious and determined (I almost typed desperate enough.. lols) that also ends up using YA, online singles dating.......etc. in order to find their soul mate. But mostly ended up hiding and try to make an impact without exposing themselves. COWARDS!!!!

One never knows where one will meet their life-long partner so, Yes it IS possible. Likely? Probably not, but it's certainly NOT impossible.
