i go out quite regularly although my bf only likes going out with his mates. he said he would come to the next party with me however when the time comes he always makes excuses. any ideas why?

Man, people are giving you some mean answers! You know your relationship, not me or any of us. And maybe you know why he dosent want to go out with you and you just dont want to admit it - we women can sense this stuff.
Just talk to him. Otherwise this small thing will turn huge and it ruin something special

first- confront him
second- if he says hes not feeling well or something and he has to stay home, go to his house
third- maybe u should hangout with him and his friends some to, i bet he probably doesnt wanna hangout with ur friends every time. so next time skip the party and hangout with him and his friends i bet he will really appreciate it.
what eva u do dont make a scene, its a party! i kno boyz can b confuzing and u cant figure them out but just c if any of these tips help, good luck

This usually happens if he is finanicials not good..Another possible reason could be he doesn't take pride in being with you..
As you said he likes going out with his mates only..The reason is probably finances..He pays for himself only or his friends pay a bit of his..So in either of the way he is able to remain with them..
What ever it be you need to figure out it soon, 'coz this could be a bit worst than you can think of

maybe he dosnt like pass the parcel or postmans knock, tell him the next one is an underware party and see if he stays away then

He is probably see someone else and in order to keep you both he cant go out with either one of you maybe it is one of your friends....

looks like he could have another girlfriend some where to me or he might be worried about meeting your family/friends ask him why otherwise i would start to ask myself if he is being honest with you.
