I really don't see what the big deal would be!

I'd feel fine about it. There are only 366 dates to choose from and most people avoid Christmas Day and a few others. The chances of any given date being someone's birthday or anniversary or some other significant date is pretty high.

It would be nice to have everyone sing Happy Birthday to the brother and maybe even have a little cake just for him.

Not a big deal. If she feels slighted, them maybe let your brother and his wife have a special birthday dance at the wedding.

Who should care. My wedding is the same day as my bridesmaid and my maid of honor's son. So we have two birthdays but we don't care that is our day. However you look at it any day you plan your wedding will be someones birthday whether family, friend or stranger.

One of my boyfriend's best friends is getting married next year on my 22nd birthday and I think it's awesome! The way I look at it, two people have found true love and chose THAT day out of all 365 days of the year to share their vows of undying love for each other... I feel very privileged!

Who cares? Most adults don't make that big of a deal over their birthday so it shouldn't be a problem.

I don't think it would really matter. If you want, mention that it is his birthday during a speech and thank him for sharing his day with you :)

Is there any significance to the date that was chosen for the wedding? If not and it bothers you then change it.
