I've been married for 4 months. (2nd marriage) My husband is very hot tempered and everytime we argue over things he gets in my face and yells at me. He has publicly humiliated me before. Says things like, "you don't know how to be a wife...you're miss perfect and never do anything wrong". I can never tell him my feelings and discuss things rationally. When I break down and cry in front of him it just seems to make his temper worse. I am at a loss. I am starting to think I made a bad choice in a second husband. How can he say he loves me and make me feel like such a piece of trash?

I have been married for about a year and a half now. I really do love my wife and we have a beautiful daughter that reminds me of that everyday. For some reason, I constantly feel drawn to other women, kind of like I am missing something. I always use the 80/20 rule( Dont give up 80% for a 20% person) but I cant help feeling like there could be someone better. I dont want to get a divorce but I need help in finding a way to get back the feelings I have lost. She did gain a little weight after the baby and I am not an asshole who only cares about the physical, I encourage her to work out or create a diet plan but it seems she would rather just complain about the wieght instead of help herself lose it. I guess I am a little unattracted to her attitude. If someone has a valid way,(intelligent , thoughtful) solution to assist me, I would appreciate it.

Everytime i mix around wif my friends most of them are married-men(MM), 3 out of 5 of these MM keep a mistress. Most of their wives simply pretend nothing happen, i simply dont understand. Ofcoz some of them have 3-4 kids at home, i guess their wives just wana go wif the flow. But i dont understnd why MM still wana keep a mistress for themselves, a wife at home isnt that enough for their entire life?
I think MM should NOT get married in the first plc and stay as a single/bachelor all the way just to fling wif so many girls out there...yeah!...As a reslult of this, women now stay single...my colleagues most of them are in their 40s refused to settle down, well they are pretty ladies all right, i guess they donwana endup wif problems after married...heemmmm..

Ok if you havent read the first part please do, so you understand this. Ok I wasnt 100% truthful. The reason I found out about all the other girls is because when we were dating we had each others passwords to our emails. I changed mine after we broke up, but he didnt. When I found out all this stuff, I checked it out and confirmed that hes messing around on his fiance. She knows about me, so if I tell her she will NEVER believe me. They are getting married tomorrow! I really feel that if I dont tell her, karma will kick my butt. However I feel like if I do she wont beleive a word. Im so confused!

How far is too far when you change yourself to please other people? Is it when you start acting stupid just so people would laugh? Is it when you stop hanging out with your old friends so you could talk to your new ones? Is it when you can barely start a a casual conversation with them? How far is too far, and is there any way to go back?

My boyfriend of four years and I have been doing really well lately. But for the past little while, we've been bickering. Last night he was so frustrated he left for an hour to cool down, and tonight he left. He says I'm being controlling, I say I need certain things from our relationship (ie. equality in household chores, affection, support). So how do I communicate what I need without being a nagging b!t(h? I love him and he loves me, we just can't seem to get a few things straight, which is what I think is holding us up. When I try to talk he doesn't want to hear it. He just doesn't really talk, unless he's already upset, then it doesn't make a ton of sense. He is a wonderful person, and I think we make a good team - I just want to get some of the kinks ironed out before it becomes too much bickering and we lose each other.

I love my family and see them very little through the year because I live in another state. I'm dreading the same family get togethers and want to do a vacation instead during the holidays but since I love them I don't want them to be hurt . I get maybe 1 week vacation every 3 yrs and feel I need more. Any ideas on how to break it to them? I'm not religious if that helps. The whole christmas shopping thing takes me days and days because of a large family and I'm very selective about what to get them.

My boyfriend and l love each other very much. We had been dating for over a year now, but there is a big issue about having a child someday. He doesn't want to have children, and I do. I have spent over a month in his house. Next week I'm moving out of state, and I have been trying to keep it together, but as the day I have to leave gets closer, I feel that emotionally I am falling apart. All this time I have been holding my tears, I have been trying to be strong, I just can take it anymore, the sadness and the pain are getting stronger and I'm getting weaker and weaker.

I feel anger, sadness, frustation. I have these kinds of mix feelings. He has to fly down to FL for a job interview this coming Monday. I told him that it would be best for both us to just say a quick goodbye as we both leave. I just don't want to cry and feel miserable at the time we have to say goodbye, I just want to avoid that painful moment. He wants me to stay until he comes back from FL.

Well I have very strict and overprotective parents. my mom found out about me having a bf and is very angry about it. she's Asian and thinks its not right to have one at such a young age. because I'm 16 and is considered a minor. but how can i reason with my mom and tell her that having a boyfriend is okay and what are some good things about having a boyfriend. shes really traditional about how i should be ashamed of myself holding hands and hugging with a guy on school property. she said that i have all the time i need to get to know guys and i don't need to have a relationship just yet. but i enjoy my times so much with my bf and we both have our limits. its not like I'm going to go home pregnant or anything. sometimes i just hope my parents would understand and let me have one. what can i say to convince my mom to let me have a boyfriend. i feel like my mom looks down on me now. I'm tired of arguing with my mom and her getting mad at me all the time about this. so what should i do?

My ex boyfriend of 5 years left me for this girl and now she smiles at me when she walks by. She also smiles at my friends. My question is what should i do as i pass her?....which is inevitable cause we go to the same college. I'm trying to be a nice person about the whole thing but it takes all the strength i have not to punch her in the face...lol. Also out of curiosity why do you think she's doing it....does she feel guilty about it? or is she just that evil?

my husband of 12 yrs up and walked out on me and our 4 kids almost 3-months ago and he has been a total asshole to us! Now he is playing mind games by saying he loves me then he's not sure he says he wants to come home then he don't he wants freedom so he says but i believe its another/several females to claim as the reason! On the 3rd nite of his leaving i caught him at womans home that i have had suspisions about before! When i busted him there he stumbled over his tongue and came up with the excuse he was "just there taking a shower" ok he was suppose to be staying with his mom who lives 5 min away from this woman makes no sense! I pushed my way inside and went into a bedroom where a light was on and found his clothes and belongings in there! He became pissed and grabbed me threw me against the wall cursing me and name calln! He proceeded to grab my arm and yanked /pulled me to the front door telln me it wasn't my f***kn house and to get the F*** out! He said he didnt like her 4yrs?

I am a single mom of two small boys. Recently, single and was married when I had my kids. It hasn't been very long since my husband left. Is there a time period I should wait before hopping back in?

I'm not looking for a relationship - just want someone to spend some time with casually and we'll see how it goes. No promises just mom needs some adult male company. Wouldn't necessarily expose the kids to it either - would have them at my parents or a sitters when together.

Is it bad for me to feel this way? Or, is it normal?

I've been married for 14 years. I got bored one night and went to a chat room on yahoo IM. The room I chose was "married but looking." I know I sound like a bad, bad wife, but I was just so bored and feeling more like a piece of furniture than a woman or wife. My husband and I have been having alot of problems due to moving from L.A. to Las Vegas, money, our house, and just about everything in our life. I went in the chat room and all these guys wanted to talk to me. I know, it is looserville USA, but it felt good. It did cause a fight later that night. Am I unusual or has anyone else gone to such obvious wrongs for attention. I know I was selfish....

My dad was cheating on my mom back in '93 and she kicked him out. So he married the whore he was cheating with. She tore our family in two. She's driven my poor dad to near-suicide multiple times. She turned my dad against his mother, his siblings and his two oldest sons (mainly, me and my twin brother.) She whores out on him regulary, because he's a commercial fisherman and is gone for periods of time. Because my twin brother moved up there, she treats him like ****, forces him to sleep in the basement, can't leave the house except for school, and, very rarely, Mom's house. Because I didn't move with him, I'm the family black sheep, and she conned my little half-brothers, who used to jump with joy upon hearing I was coming over, into believing I'm the Anti-Christ. Even Dad hates me,and considers me a "Nuisance" when I come over.
I told her to her face once, and Dad threatened to kill me. Also, she'll abandon the kids to go whore out all night, and sometimes all day. What should I do?

take you out on a date just because you were hungry?

Basically playing with their emotions just to use them for their money.

Or if not just a date, would you use them for their money through a meaningless relationship?

If you would, then you are selfish and evil.

A friend of mine lost her husband 2 years ago, she had 1 child with him. They were a very well off upscale family...she had only met his brother twice during their 10 year marriage. Since her husbands death they started talking and grew closer over 2 years...eventually they started dating with the family's blessing. Now they are engaged to be married.
Personally I don't care as long as they are happy but I'm intrested in what other people think about this situation?
Is it wrong?
I know a long time ago it was considered "the right thing to do"
If your brother died you would marry his wife, but not so much these days.

Ok. I have asked friends and even my husband, who all give me different answers, so here I am. I have an ex that would still call me and text me, and it wasnt just a hello. It was "send me pics" "I miss you" and other sexual things. I thought about replying honestly and then I found out he is getting married! Just happen to be that some girlfriends that I work with are talking to him and sending him nude pics and emailing him and texting him, and all this time he is getting married. I dont know his fiance, but I know who she is. I know he is a player (when I was dating him I had no idea that he had a girlfriend) He actually just text me 3 days ago and hes getting married tomorrow! Some of my friends (that arent sleeping with him) tell me to tell his fiance. Others tell me its none of my business. What would you do?

We've been married two years, and they have been divorced 18 years. He has had another failed marriage in between these two. His first ex and he call each other on their anniversary. He's continued to do this even though he knows it annoys me. One time I picked up the phone and she said, " I was thinking of you this morning when I was..." He said, "Good girl." When she calls and leaves messages, she says things like, "Hello, this if the first Mrs. (last name)," or "Hello, this is the mother of your children." Their children are grown and have left home. Once she called to borrow $1500 to cover a gambling debt and the two of them kept it from me. When I found out he said, "what I do with my money is my buisness and if you don't like it, I'll get a lawyer." It wasn't about the money; it was about the secrecy. We've also had problems with him calling ex-girlfriends. He says there is something wrong with me and I'm just too jealous. I don't want to divorce, but what else can I do?

To clarify, I'm not trying to win her back. I do not want to be dramatic. I just want to see her. We have not seen eachother in 2 years and neither of us use aim or myspace. We were in high school but it was still serious for both of us. I just want to show her I've become a better person and close things i guess. She's the only girl I've really cared about (no point in having a relationship during college). Would it be better to call her first? Would it be weird to surprise her with one of her favorite foods?
