I said some mean things that were not true just to make her mad so she would stop calling. Now I regret what I said. We havent spoken to each other since. I want to be her friend but I dont know how to go about it. What should I do?

i'm 21 years old and i'm in love with a boy of 20( exactly one year younger than me)we love each other so much...we are perfectly matching in thoughts. He doesn't mind this at all and we are willing to get married in 6 years after finishing our university period...so will this age gap be a problem to a successfull marriage life?
i mean physicall, and socaially..because many guys marry girls younger than them...so what do you think of this?

I need some serious, mature advice.
I have a friend, who is very dear to me. She used to come over occasionally for a visit (which I don't mind at all). However, lately she has been coming over to my house most afternoons for coffees and a chat.

After 2-3 refills of cups and several hours later, I am delicately hinting that it's getting late and I still need to get a lot done. She doesn't get the hint and by now it's almost dinner time. So, I get up and start the cooking. She remains on the couch and sips her tea, still chatting away. I then make a firmer statement to indicates that she needs to leave, but again without success. While she continues to talk to me, I usually end up making dinner for her as well, which is fine by me occasionally, but not habitually.

My question is how can I politely tell her she is overstaying her welcome? (And I don't want to sound nasty at all - I DO value her friendship) She is still my friend, so polite suggestions, please.
Thanks

What are grounds for divorce? I love my husband. He has been on dating sites, gay, straight, and only admitted to it because I caught him. He said he chats about sex, but I don't think he cheats!! Since I have been searching he has been on 20 plus dating sites-- most before we were married and some I cannot prove if they were while, but he says he has done it since our marriage. (That was after I caught him.) I asked him why and he said he wanted to talk to someone. But I told him that he could do that on myspace or chat or something, but not on dating sites! (He wouldn't have told me the truth if I hadn't found it out in the first place.)
Need a lot of advice pls! I am going to marriage counseling, but I think it is worthless. I don't know if I will ever trust him again!! I am angry that he would do this to me and my daughter!!
On top of it all -- he says that I am somewhat to blame that he asked for oral sex with a man (dating site)!! Talking? That is cheating, right?

So heres the deal. Straight up. In our culture we marry early. I was born and raised in America, but somehow I became a victim of the old world ways and got married at the age of 16. Fast forward now to ten years later, I wished I would have had enough strength to tell my family that I did'nt want to get married. Now I feel like I want to rebel cuz I missed out on alot of things in my life. I wished I would have waited and married the person I knew was the one for me. Let me add that the main reason I've stayed married for so long is because if I wanted out, it would disappoint alot of people. (parents, in-laws) so there's definitely alot of pressure to accept your life the way it is because of tradition, religion, and culture. I really need some help on this. I'm sooooo depressed. I don't want to live like this. Wishing and wondering what if.

I know guys in general think about sex a lot. And usually try to get some out of a date or something. Are shy guys like that as well?

Doing the right thing, sometimes involves conditions. For instance, a step father returns to a family because of his love for his step children more than anything else. He pays for it by having to shut down unrequieted affection for someone 700 miles away. Is it doing the right thing? Is it selfish to consider the alternative? Happiness is a very hard thing to conquer.

Sometimes I detest my family. They force me to spend time with them every single day. My dad forces me to kiss his cheek everyday, and I quote, "At least 6 times a day," eventhough I'm 14 now. They don't want me to be a writer, they want me to do something "useful," like a doctor or a lawyer. They force me to cover my hair when I go out because of a religion I don't even believe in anymore. They window shop for an eternity and I'm not allowed to go anywhere but stay there, watching. Now they're taking the whole family on vacation to next month. I HATE traveling. Every aspect of it. From the long hours of flight, to the half-assed stares I get from the local people because I'm a foreigner. Not to mention that they won't let me bring my laptop to write, and God knows I can't write on paper. And I have to celebrate my birthday there, instead of here with my friends.

I have an attitude, I have been told countless time that I do, so I know that. So how do I change?

He's my guy friend and I've known him for 3 years. He is so sexy and fine, but he he's also known for being a big flirt and player. I know I shouldn't be lusting for him but I can't help it because he also likes to touch girls (if you know what I mean) and whenever he touches me, something goes off inside of me, but I always dismiss it. And I always pretend him touching me has no effect whatsoever. I only like him in a physical and sexual way. How do I stop thinking of him like this?

Are you male/female?

How old are you?

If you were about to get married, would you insist on a prenupt? I would myself, I've worked too hard for the things I have in life to lose it in a divorce settlement. Now I do agree that anything accumulated after the marriage should be community property.

Do you work with mean or nice people, and how do they affect your self esteem? Is your family supportive, or bringing you down . Do you feel like there is a pecking order every where you go, and what end do you always seem to wind up on, top middle or bottom?

Ok, well my gf and I have been having problems lately. Big problems. two weeks after we first met, we had an argument and sort of called things off. She went of and had drunken meaningless sex with some dude. Needless to say, she never told me, and we worked through that break up and so here we are 8 months later. Now I am the one that cheated. It all came out, her mistakes and mine. Yet my mistake seems to be the one in question because she said, we were only talking, we hadnt gotten into a committed relationship. I love this girl, I want still be with this girl, but is it fair that she hangs it over my head and blow it off when I bring up what she did? I need help and advice

I saw this girl a month ago at a co-ed sports thing and thought she was the most beautiful, sweet, perfect girl I had ever seen. She started talking me and I felt as though she was interested since she asked me so many question. Because I am either a coward a fool or both I did not ask her out. I have gone back four saturdays now hoping for another shot but she has not been there. My question is am I being silly should I just give it up and move on, I am really sick of going and have no interest in spending my saturday nights there, how long should I keep going hoping to see her again?

I know its an immature question but it feels like it! My parents have been divorced since I was 3( 35 now) and my dad has never really been part of our lives. When we were kids we would spend 1 month every summer with him but that stopped when Iwas 17. Most recently he has been Emailing and calling my brother and not me. He lives in another state and has never come here to visit he told my sisterin law that he is afraid my mom will have him arrested for back child support. I want a relationship with him but why wont he visit or send me a stupid bday card.
