I saw this girl a month ago at a co-ed sports thing and thought she was the most beautiful, sweet, perfect girl I had ever seen. She started talking me and I felt as though she was interested since she asked me so many question. Because I am either a coward a fool or both I did not ask her out. I have gone back four saturdays now hoping for another shot but she has not been there. My question is am I being silly should I just give it up and move on, I am really sick of going and have no interest in spending my saturday nights there, how long should I keep going hoping to see her again?

I know I'm a bit older than most people on here at 42 but from my experience I do believe in love at first sight. It has happened to me 3 times in my life.

The problem is that the relationships I had with these women ended in tears whereas women I have dated and have grown close to gradually are still friendly with me years after we parted ways.

If you believe in the "law of attraction" (look it up online) think about running into her somewhere, the mall or a parking lot etc...Visualize it in your head and be positive that you will run into her and you may be suprised at the results.

I want to believe it, but unfortunately I don't. Perhaps a short-lived romance. Something drew you to this woman though and that is a start. What do you got to lose? Really? Rejection? Well, we all get rejection. It lasts a day or minute or a few seconds.
But what is worst -- never knowing what it would be like if you actually got the courage to go up and do what you have been thinking about.
Ask her out.
And if she rejects it is only a moment of shame. You will live.

You can't love somebody you don't even know. I mean a true, deep love. "Love at first sight" is an immature love.

I'd say if you don't want to be there and she hasn't shown up the last 4 times, move on. You may see he again at another time when you aren't looking so hard.

Wow... You migh have blown your chance for good. If you havent seen her again since ,that might have just been a 1 shot encounter. She might not show up again.. I suggest moving on.. or you can ask around the next time you go to that spot again. Maybe someone might remember her and will possibly know her name or something... Give it a shot !

The first time i met my husband i knew that he was my soul mate (he was 19, i was 20) we got married 4 years later.

I've also felt the way you've discribed and that always turned out to be infatuation. Though that feeling of being in love is wonderful. You'll likely feel it many times over until you meet your soul mate too.

Don't give up if she makes u smile and happy inside ur heart keep trying to get to know her. U said she asked u alot of question right ? that shows that she has instrest in u. If u really like then u should ask her for her number and ask to go somewhere with u like a movie or go do something fun u know.

don't waste your time. if it was meant to be you will probable run into each other again. maybe not this month or even this year but i believe everything happens for a reason. if you can't see her again right now maybe right now is not the perfect time for you. life is funny that way and you can never know why things happened the way they did until later...

no ibelieve in lust at first site how can you fall in love with someone you know nothing about. The first site is purely physical (that is not to say that after talking to the person you will fall in love but that is not exactly love at first site is it)

Yes I believe in love at first site.....there's a site at craigslist for missed connections....you never know maybe she looks there....

Date other girls in the meantime..if she responds thats good if she doesn't, she doesn't.
