Absolutely NOT! You should be glad that you are an individual. You dress like a skank now, and your going to regret it in 5 years when you look back and wonder why the heck you couldnt just stand on your own two feet and be proud of who you were...not what everyone else thought you should be!

Be yourself and stand out. Never blend in bc you won't be noticed. You dont want to be known as the girl who dress like a skank. Reread you question you said it yourself "all my friends dress like skanks". Be better than those skanks. LOL
Dress like a young respectable lady.

Don't fit in by being a skank also. You need to have your own mind and do your own thing. People will respect you more for being your own person than they will for fitting in with the skanks.

No. Don't be a conformist... which is someone who has to do what is "in" to be "accepted" by the "popular kids". Be an individual! Once you get involved with those ninth-grade hoes you call "your friends", your life is going down the hellhole. My idea is to not care about those sluts and focus more on your education and less on shallow television-influenced promiscuity.
My advice is: don't try to fit in with those whores. Think for yourself and don't tell these ghettomizers tell you what to do, wear, or believe.

Dress yourself to suit yourself and not others. I think it is much more important to be yourself than to try and be who you think people want you to be. You should want to be proud of yourself, but will you be if you dress like a skank just to fit in?

I know how you feel. You don't want to lose your friends, but you don't want to be whore. It's tough. Dress the way you want, and your friends (if they are good friends) won't care. Don't change yourself for anyone. I found that out the hard way, and its a LOT harder going back to "normal" than it is to go "skank"...

heck no. just cause they're skanks doesnt mean u have to be. be yourself (i know that sounds cliche but its true). And if they push u to be a skank- why are you friends with them? sounds like you're better than that.

Nope.....boys will notice and flirt with the skanky look, but seriously date classy girls. If you want to fit in, look for some of their styles that aren't trashy, like jewelry styles and color trends.

Nothing wrong with a little conformity to make life easier. Just dress less skanky. And if they are truly your friends, you'll be fine. Dressing skanky does not make you skanky, right? And I noticed you didn't say your friends WERE skanky.
