Everytime I go to friends or on "answers" feeling like I'm accepting something in my relationship that feels like abuse, or bad treatment in general and looking for empowered solutions , why do I always ge thte response that's like... "oh, well...that's how men are." or "My husband alwyas does that..and I don't mind?" or some explaination that basically says. "I'm only technically in a "realtionship" I do everything independantly of my husband, and therefore I'm not vulneralbe to his insensitivities.? What is WITH THAT!!?? Aren't there any women out there whov'e learned how to wrangle the ill-behaved husband and at least get him to understand how to truly share the responsibilities of a real relationship? why do they get to have their cake and eat it too so often?

He is really great but the only problem is that when he smiles he looks like a horse. But I have Dentric Hippophobia - fear of horse teeth. When my bf smiles I get all panicky, can't breathe, almost black out... Is there a tactful way to tell him to stop smiling?

I believe in establishing a solid relationship before you move on to sex. I don't believe in premarital sex, really. But I also believe that compatibility in sex is essential for preserving your marriage. So, those men who waited for marriage to have sex-- were you able to strengthen the sextual aspect of your relationship during the course of your marriage? Have there been hick ups (such as lusting after someone else) and what did you do?

o.k so sometimes she brings her guy friend into our room until 6 o'clock in the morning. So even though i am sometimes awake at that time she still shouldn't bring him until that late i am quiet most of the time wearing my headphone when i am on the computer watching youtube and stuff. We don't have a t.v in our room. so she washes her hair everyday. and some of the girls that is very loud complained that our room is very loud, when they are 10 times louder than us. so i told my roommate to use low when she blow dry her hair, because the other people is blaming on me for all the noise that i never even commited. So i started to sleep very early like 7 or 8 at night and she stopped bringing her guy friend. but maybe she did because i am too dead to notice anything. so she started to get very mad at me and making whole bunch of noise and started to talk about me when i was trying to fall asleep and she brought her guy friend to our room at 10 pm. saying that i was evil or something.

Background: Guy I have been going out with is going to fix something in my home next weekend. Today I sent him our astrological makeup which really sucks, if we're being honest, but did so as a joke as we had discussed it before.

Anyway he wrote back: "it has been very nice knowing you
though. i'll send a contractor over this weekend to
take care of the ceiling, and stop by sunday to see if
the work was done well. Krap, and i was just about to
ask you to wander down the path with me just alittle
longer."

While I know he's joking, I don't like the "sass" in it and want to reply in turn with something really cute, not offensive, but not wimpy either.

Any thoughts?

I've asked my question last night and all answers were saying I was wrong to picked my family over my wife and children. I know I listened to my mom alot and I did what she told me to do to my wife and 1 yr old daughter. She kept telling me " I've brought you to this world and raised u up if you leave me, I'll disown you." and my younger sister also gave my wife hard time too. I told my wife no matter what my parents said even it's wrong I still listened to them. Now, she's in N. CA being 6 mons pregnant and taking care of my 1 daughter at her mom's. We still contact but I still want my wife to go back to live with my family but she doesn't want to. She said "even you're not with me I'll take care of our kids myself because I owned them for not giving them what they deserve. I'll always welcome you back when you realized how important we are to you because my kids only have 1 father." Now, I'm in S. CA all I can do is to hang out with friends and go home, I don't know wat else to do.

I have physical custody of my kids recently. My ex gave me physical custody of the kids with joint custody.I filed for a protection order against my ex wife cause her partner physically abused them and she did nothing about it ever theres police records from when my daughter went to school brused when she had custody of them. Now that its almost tax time she said she is going to get the kids back because I will not let her put the kids on her tax return. She doesnt give me child support cause I have never asked for it. But after I got the restraining order on her she asked for a court hearing I am not sure if the hearing will be to get the protection order off or to get the kids back on her custody (physical). Does anyone have any advice??? Do you think I should really hire an attorney?? And do you think its possible for her to get the kids back????

What !!

I am sooo madd.....how could he think i would do this....

My son has no price....no matter what...

He is complaning to the court that he can't pay 1000 a month for child support, but he can afford to give me 30 thousand for my son.....

i can't wait to hear back from my attorney and to see what the judge has to say about this............

My boyfriend lives about 3 hours away from me. I love this guy to death. But I have met some one that really makes me laugh and smile. Now my boyfriend has told me that it was ok if I saw someone else but it just doesn't feel right to me. ok so... my life is DRAMA so i WAS with a man who is in the military and anyways he has 2 kids so id be a stepmother and anyways his freakin WIFE who i thought was his ex is still married to him and he got caught because he used THERE emergency credit card to call me collect so she called me and informed me about everything and so i called him and asked and he said that when we met he decided to go through with the divorce and that is true he moved out and let his wife stay in there house and basically he has lied to me about EVERYTHING pertaining to him and her but with me i belive he loves me and he wanted his cake and to eat it to. they havent been together for awhile since weve been togethere but i guess my question is is how much would you put up with until it wasnt worth it?? i feel betrayed and hurt and dont know what to do and have no one to talk to he was the one i told everything and he feels like **** which of course because he got caught and will lose me if he doesnt change

i dont know why i care but i worry about my daughter. her father has not tried to see her and his parent havn't either! i'm not allowed to talk to him at this time but he can speek with my mother and/or sister to see his child. he's came by twice and i've told him that i wasn't keeping him from his child and that if he wanted to start seeing her again he needed to talk to someone other then me. i found his g/fs email and wrote her(not being mean) saying that my ex can see the child and im not keeping her from him. she didn't write me back. idk what to do! i mean if it was the other way around i'd be trying to see my daughter all the time and wouldn't stop. my daughter is happy being with me and my family. i dont know why i care so much becuz my family gives her all the love she needs i just find it sad her fathers side can't do the same. and his g/f of only four months (who he's cheated all the whole time) are supposed to be getting married. you'd think she'd help him see her.

I wasn't sexually active until my early 20's - sex was always uncomfortable, alot of guilt and repression - i've had maybe a handful of partners, one or two "steadies" and am now in late 30's
I've never felt that I "got it" regarding sex - like there was some huge aspect I was missing out on - it was an empty gesture - it was never what I'd call "fun" considering the amount of stress, anxiety and tension associated with the entire course of events leading up to/during/after the event
I think it's basically too late for me at this point to have a sex life, I never really "dated" either, not casually, other than mingling if there was a large group
I even had a period thinking I might be gay, (had gay friends, was open to the possibility, but I know that ain't the issue either)
I'm fairly sure it's some repressed issues from growing up that I'm just now beginning to realize, really ****ed my head in terms of having "normal" sex relations, well, "normal" social relations, period

Me and my ex are still pretty good friends, but we've both realized that our relationship can not be boy-f girl-f. Part of the reason is because he doesn't want to commit to a long term relationship, which I'm okay with...I'm glad he's being honest, he just wants to have fun right now, and we are both young 16 and 17.
