Me and my ex are still pretty good friends, but we've both realized that our relationship can not be boy-f girl-f. Part of the reason is because he doesn't want to commit to a long term relationship, which I'm okay with...I'm glad he's being honest, he just wants to have fun right now, and we are both young 16 and 17. We obviously admit that we are atracted to each other physically. So is it wrong to still kiss him, and "mess around" as long as we both aren't dating anyone els? Does it make me a sl** to just be friends with benifits?

As long as you both understand it as just "friends with benefits" or "messing around". The two of you definitely need to talk it over before things just "happen". Otherwise, there'll be some complicated emotions getting thrown around, which now that I think of it.. it's probably going to be that way regardless. So, Unless you want to still be emotionally attached, except, he won't be committed.. then don't do it.

Nah, you're fine. As long as everyone is being honest and open about how things are, there is nothing wrong with it. Humans are physical creatures. And if you can get that from someone you trust and like, great! You don't have to be dating. You're not a slut. If anything, you're a much more free person than most. That's a good thing.

In any situation like this, ask yourself a question or two: Am I hurting anyone else by doing this, and am I doing what makes me happy?

If the answers are "no" and "yes" respectively, then it's not wrong. And anyone who says otherwise is simply trying to impose their personal opinion on you.

not wrong if you aren't seeing anyone else. you're kinda young to commit anyway(but its successfully been done before). If you don't love him you are just satisfying your animal self by "messing around". what does that say about you. if you want to find a true BF you love you may want to stop and move on. otherwise if you are just going to have benefits with this one and then the next one etc. it does make you promiscuous.

If you don't have a committment to anyone, you're free to kiss whomever you want. Even if you are dating, if you don't have a committment to each other, you're still free to kiss anyone you like. Believe me. I'm dating two men right now. I am still free to kiss or do whatever I want with anyone else as I have no committments to these men beyond the friendship we started with.

no. everyone has friends with benefits..and it's usually with a really close friends OR an ex because that ex knows what you like..as long as you're not screwing/dating other ppl on the side, you're okay. but once u do, u need to let him know because it needs to stop asap.

I had the same situation. It's fine, as long as you're both okay with it, and not seeing anyone else.

If it works for you, you shouldnt need others to approve.

lots of people your age would prefer to having friends with benefits than to have a long term relationship. if you feel guilty about it, then it is wrong for YOU. if you don't, then it is ok for YOU.
