Background: Guy I have been going out with is going to fix something in my home next weekend. Today I sent him our astrological makeup which really sucks, if we're being honest, but did so as a joke as we had discussed it before.

Anyway he wrote back: "it has been very nice knowing you
though. i'll send a contractor over this weekend to
take care of the ceiling, and stop by sunday to see if
the work was done well. Krap, and i was just about to
ask you to wander down the path with me just alittle
longer."

While I know he's joking, I don't like the "sass" in it and want to reply in turn with something really cute, not offensive, but not wimpy either.

Any thoughts?

I had kind-of something like that ... I had written:

"Just make sure he's as cute and charming as the original and I'll be perfectly fine. Maybe he can cover Sunday too."

But then didn't like it ... What do you think?

How about:

Whoa! To think such sass can come from such beautiful lips. I'm astounded.

In any case, only if you insist, and only if the replacement is as cute and charming as the original. Pretty tall order, but if you can deliver. I'll live with it. :O).

Make sure to ask what the contractors sign is and if the contractor would mind you doing yoga in your panties and bra.

Tell him....Well if you send a contractor over at least I know that the job will get done correctly......Krap, and I was about to ask you to look at "my pipes" when you got done with the ceiling......you should have stuck around a little longer :)

"Well, hopefully the contractor will be cute. I've only been dating so-so looking guys lately. See you Sunday!" How's that?

Here's what you say: "Okay, just make sure the contractor is cute". He'll laugh, you'll laugh, hell, we'll all be laughing!!
