I am sooo madd.....how could he think i would do this....
My son has no price....no matter what...
He is complaning to the court that he can't pay 1000 a month for child support, but he can afford to give me 30 thousand for my son.....
i can't wait to hear back from my attorney and to see what the judge has to say about this............

I ended up in a domestic violence shelter...we when to court, sued me for full custody...we have joint custody, I have physical and he has supervised visitation!

Wow, he is such a dumbas*. Save this message and show it in court. Your son does not have a price tag, and he should be ashamed of himself. He shouldn't have his son anyway since he was abusing you. Take everything he has girl =)

30,000 is most likely never going to happen regardless, it's simply a ploy to get you to give up your son, or show the court that money mattered more to you than your son. So first. USE the message as evidence. Show it to your lawyer; document it. Document everything, keep everything written that your exhusband says to you. It actually doesn't matter if he can't pay that much in child support. The court sets an amount according to his income and it must be paid, or else he can have his license revoked, and lots of other things could happen. So just keep your heart towards your child and everything will work out.

Sounds like you are a major ***** to me. You say your son doesnt have a price. How do you think he feels about getting screwed out of his kids? Maybe he cant afford $30k but is willing to go into debt if it helps him get his son. Contrary to what some of you vile women believe, men dont get joy out of having their kids taken away. "Oh, I am not taking the kids away" you'll say. Where will they be living again? Oh, that's right, not with him.
I am not telling you to give up your son but I am telling you that your inability to understand that he is your ex's son to is astounding
After reading all the answers I have to add "man a lot of you women are fricken blind and full of man hate." Only a couple even acknowledged that it is HIS son too. He most likely isnt trying to get out of support payments- he wants his kid too. Newsflash, women are NOT entitled to the kids just because they are women. You all should be ashamed of the answers you gave on here and I dont say that much but in this case it is true.

That's really messed up that he actually thought you would take money for your son. I'm a mother of three , and it wouldn't matter how much some one offered me, I sure wouldnt give up my kids. Your doing the right thing by keeping the message and showing it to your attorney. After the judge sees and hears something like that , he might actually lose all of his custody rights. Hope so!!!(sounds like he has some serious problems. Kids are expensive to take care of , I hope you get your $1000 a month. Good luck to you .

maybe he just wants custody of his son... is catlynn your daughter or what?
maybe you two can come to an agreement.... instead of being angry, maybe look at it from his perspective, which is probably the fact that he wants to have his son in his life. and he is feeling desparate.
it's not abnormal to want your children in your life...
maybe you are focusing too much on $1000 a month in child support, instead of looking toward the best interest of your kids... you did' not mention their ages, but perhaps if they are old enough, sit them down and ASK THEM what their feelings are and where they'd like to live?
we really need to consider the kids' emotions, feelings and wishes ABOVE our own!!!

Hell no!!!!!!!!!!! I wouldn't even think about handing over my son or daughter for any amount of money. I wouldn't care if it was my momma ( I love her to death) but I still wouldn't give up my kids. I am sorry but this situation right here makes me mad. I would tell your ex that he can just go to hell and never come back. I hope that the judge can make the right decision of leaving tyler with you because that dude can't even pay child support and he's offering 30 thousand dollars. That's just a big fat excuse for him. I hope that you have a good fight over this one. Good luck and make sure that you tell tyler and catlynn that you love them and that you would never give up them for anything in the world. The whole story isn't being told here. I wonder how people can jump to such strong conclusions. Maybe he is a lousy husband, but that doesn't make him a bad parent necessarily. I can neither support you or condemn you at this point.

He's trying to tempt you with a seemingly large amount now, so he can get out of paying you over the course of years !!! You are right, your children are priceless !!! Just don't do anything irrational right now. Wait to hear what your Attorney advises you !!! Your ex may just be trying to set you up to "snap" so he can have the kids and get out of child support all together. Be careful !!! Good Luck !!!

Keep that text message, I've had to use them in court! The nerve of some people, Men can find anyway they can to get out of paying child support. Including putting everthing they have in parents names. Good Luck!
