because these people are in a working relationship already, have a proven track record, maybe these people who are doing the seeking haven't had good luck in finding anyone, and see a man or woman who is in something that works, they see someone of value there, so they pursue it, knowing if they actually get this person to leave who they are with that it would make their life better. they have no conscience and are only concerned with their own needs and not the pain they will be causing the partner of the person they pursue. they may see an opportunity maybe the couple is having problems, and they see their chance because they feel this person is the answer to their lonliness and financial difficulties.

Boredom, no commitment and well danger and adventure. Alot of peoplpe stray from the marriage or are attracted to other who are taken because they want what someone else has. Plus there is the whole action of it and the danger of being caught. Most people love suspense and mystery be it in a movie or TV or in real life.

Because people who are already in a relationship can not be tied down and you can't expect a lot from them do to the fact that they are already in a relationship themselves and when ever it is over it's over.
