Honey, whatever YOU want to do. It's no one's place on here to judge you (though unfortunately it happens...)

If you feel more comfortable in wranglers and a pair of boots, by all means, do it. You don't want to have regrets later on in life, so do what you want.

I'm pretty fond of my Levis myself :P

HA!! I think its great!! If it was up to my fiance he would get married the same way. In his jeans and work boots. My stepdad actually did get married in his wranglers and boots. When my mom got re-married they had the wedding at our favorite country bar. So she wore a dancing dress and he wore his black wranglers, black cowboy hat and boots and nobody thought any less of it. It was a very casual wedding but all their guests say it was the best time they ever had at a wedding. I say go for it!!

It's YOUR wedding, wear what you want! I think it's a cool idea. I once went to a "hippie" wedding where everyone wore jeans and tie-dye and sandals, and the bride wore a paisley pattern dress. The groom wore a paisley Nehru Jacket that his father had saved from back in the day. It was awesome. They played nothing but music from the 60's at the reception and everyone had a great time. The tradition of having a huge expensive wedding is not necessary nowadays unless you are trying to impress people with your wealth. Have a great ceremony!

It's unanimous: Your wedding. Your day. Your call. But don't forget one very important detail: If you're showing up in jeans and boots, don't let it be a surprise to all of your guests. They might resent that $50 they spent on a suit rental, or that dress they pulled out of the back of their closet and had to dry clean just for you. Either include on your invitation, or (if too late for that) send out an update to everyone that they should wear whatever they feel comfortable in.

Cheers!

Thats awesome! Im wearing cowboy boots with my wedding dress. Theres nothing wrong with wearing wranglers and boots. If you want to dress it up a little bit just wear a white shirt and a veil with your jeans and boots! Have fun!

I totally agree that it is your wedding and you do not have to go the traditional route, you can wear what you like, if that is what you want then go for it, I am sure your family will appreciate being comfortable.

Yee Haw... although my niece was convinced to wear a dress, her original plan was to wear white jeans & boots. Her dad begged her to go to the western store... she got a simple western dress in all white, and wa actually glad she did. they had a totally cowboy wedding... it was SO much fun.

A friend of mine got married last summer and had a "cowboy" theme. The groom and all 5 boys (his, hers and theirs) wore sky blue shirts, black jeans, black boots, black belts and black hats (all new). She wore a sky blue sequined gauzy shirt, black denim skirt, black belt, black boots, and black hat. I thought they looked great. She said she paid less then $300.00 for everything because it was all bought on sale at a western store.

It sounds like a wonderful inexpensive idea to have a good time. Good Luck.

What a fun idea! There are so many things available for a country style wedding, plus you'll be saving money. Check out this site, it's specifically for country weddings.
