I've been quite intrigued by white men's yellow fever and have sought relentlessly to understand it.


Coming from the source white men seem to think:
- Asian women are usually petite and in shape
- They have small vag1n45
- They do not disrespect them (demand stuff, etc)
- They treat them very well
- Intelligent

While I understand all that rhetoric.........cus I mean come on men are men.....


Which of you white men are bold enough to claim that they would take an Asian woman over a white woman?

As a neutral black woman with a keen interest in this topic (and no interest in any of the above mentioned parties) I welcome your replies!

I have a major crush on someone I dance with. We chat and dance together. this evening this person gave me her number and said if I wanted to go to another club and wanted a friendly face to see to call her.

Now I really like this person- trouble is a dance club is difficult to pick up signals as everyone is friendly and really nice to each other.

Am I reading to much into the fact that she has given me her number? I am worried that if I call her to ask her out that I could muck up things and miss out on dancing in the future because she could feel akward?

Any thoughts?!

It drives me nuts for boys to stare at them. Sometimes it's like my gf's dad, or my teachers, or even my priest. I swear to you... I do not wear clothes to show skin or be overly tight. But, I feel VERY self-conscious around most boys now.

Would you ever get married? Or get married again?

I believe that marraige is an archaic institution that has outlived it's usefulness and practicality. If I had a buck for every married man who hit on me...

I suppose that if I had a wonderful relationship with a wonderful man, and marriage was important to him, I might go through with a ceremony as long as it wasn't legal.

i'm 14 i text a guy who is 16 goes to my school..its private school...i usually text him til 1:00 am sometimes.... i'm hispanic he is black... he told me he likes me and even told me he loves me...! i have been texting him and he wants me to kiss him and even tries it at school i don't want to get in trouble there are strict rules...well he begs me and all i say is don't....i realize i like him..he asked me out i said no...my parents don't let me....but i didn't tell him that... so he begs for a kiss...i like him i want to but i'm not sure if its worth it...should i kiss him

I mean, are you doing what you always imagined you'd be doing?? Accomplishing goals, having a social life, etc.?

I know I'm not. I am in such a rut. All I do is sleep, wake up, take care of my kids and my house, work, eat, sleep, do the same thing the next day. My life is so boring and predictable I know what my day is going to be like a month in advance. I have no friends, no social life, no time or money to go out with my fiance, and so on.

Sometimes I think, "Why bother?"

After 7 years I no longer love my wife. Its just gone; there is nothing there-- She drives me to drink pretty much. I stay with her is because she earns a ton of money and i live very well (new car every year, nice house) --- other than that, i can't stand her. ok here the thing me boy friend always breaks up with me then he asks for me back... Normally i say yes ... but this is the 7th time he has done this. He ask me out agian.. When my mom passed away 3 years ago my dad begged my family to move in with him. I agreed(my husband no so much), but now he acts like we are the worst people ever. Hes always putting my kids and my parenting down. yea im not perfect but I try. But he lectures us 2 to 3 times a day now. And now its like he hates us. He blew all of my moms life insurance policy and now tells us he cant afford the mortgage payment by himself. every month hes threatning to raise our rent but we pay all of the other bills. Not to mention we have three kids and this place is just to small for all of us. We want to move out but I dont want to ruin my relationship with my dad. Hes all I have left. But if we move out and he loses everything I know he will blame me.But if we stay I risk my marriage. My husband is at the end of his rope. Anyone out there have any good advice?

My father is dying, he is 73. I am the youngest of his sons, I am 36. He has probably less than 4 months left. I have not spoken to him or my step mother in years, we had a falling out, in which he said he never wanted to see me again.

I stayed away, moved, did not contact or stick my hand out at Christmas or anything, I broke clean and declared him dead then.

He got prostate cancer since then, it spread into his bones, liver, ect.

My stepmother went to my old roommates house, he called me, put her on the phone and she tried to guilt trip me, I told her i would not come and they both had made this choice and hung up.

I feel i made the right choice, knowing what my father has done in the past and what a hypocrite he is, I dont believe me going to his death bed would be a healthy thing for me.

I am catching flack for this choice from family members, so i am asking for opinions.

I'm helping a coworker put together her wedding in April. The colors she's picked are Ivory/Champagne, Gold, and Black. We have the invitations more or less figured out. First off, I'm in my early 30's. Met a guy at a coffee shop; we hit it off - ended up talking for two hours - it was so comfy I felt like I was talking to my best bud. This doesn't happen much for 30 yo's, especially being TOTALLY MUTUALLY attracted to eachother. Well, we set a late date cuz we wanted to see eachother even tho we had other plans that were already set. My plans involved playing poker with my girls and drinking. By the time he got to my place, I had more to drink than I realized. We had a great time but 2 good of time (we stopped at sleeping 2gether) I called the next day saying how humiliated & sorry I was & he said he couldn't pursue the relationship because of what happened. And that he couldn't start from the beginning after so much had already happened. Told me how gorgeous I was & it was a hard decision but he just wasn't that kinda man. I wanna write him an email tellin him please gimme a 2nd chance and we could pretend nothing happened.....WHAT DO I DO?
