Hi, I looked at your profile before answering and you sound like a great honest person. Christian girls look for a good christian guy. Being shy can attract the opposite type of women which can be very good. Just make sure to look in the right places and not in the wrong ones so you won't be "unequally yoked". It's always nice to meet someone with your same beliefs and values. The singles ministry is a good place. Just continue to work on yourself and before you know it there she'll be. Just pray about it and God will do the rest, he's already got someone picked out for you--it's all in His timing.

Shyness can be attractive to women. I personally like a guy who is honest, who can communicate, and who has similar beliefs to mine. I believe that both people in a relationship can do things with their other friends. You don't have to have the same likes or dislikes. Mutual things are good. A guy with confidence is appealing with a little bit of mystery. Getting to know someone as friends first before dating or committing is so much better.

You didn't say your age. I am 40 and use to be so shy and never knew what to do with myself. I have since learned that I am a communicator and it doesn't hurt me to actually look someone in the eye and say hello. You can actually see pleasant surprises on others faces when you say hello to them, especially when they look down. Be genuine. You don't have to have a long conversation to begin with. You can have a short and sweet conversation and slowly get to know a girl. Have a small cookout and invite your friends.

Look them in the eye when you talk and smile. Ask them questions about themselves and their families. It shows you are interested and are harmless.

Personally, i like shy guys. I think it's because i am kind of shy around guys. It's a hard question though. Girls like guys that they know stuff about. If you never talk to anyone, then i don't know if a girl would like you, however, my best friend likes a guy who NEVER talks, so there is hope...

well some of the girls may not like guys who don't talk to them at all. And no i'm not a girl like that, but it could be a bit annoying if you can't ask the girl out, so maybe just get over your shyness and go ask the girl out =) As long as your kind, and caring.

I would not date someone that I didn't have something in common with. If you are too shy to talk to me a little, that would be difficult to find out. With that said, I have talked to shy guys at clubs, church, classes, etc.. Join a few activities in which you have to participate in activities with others. That will keep you busy and give you a chance to talk.

lol, the best advice that i can give you is that, girl are the same as boys but they are even more shy then you, that why they like to do the first move.

I think you can be shy, but also try to be social to girls you like. Be friends and you never know what can happen.
