Men, tell me if you knew in your gut that a woman was "the one" as soon as you saw her. Tell me if when you met "the one" the very first time did you NOT know she was "the one".

1 What profession are you both in?
2 How long did you date prior to marriage?
3 First marriage?
4 How old were you both when married?
5 Are you married?
6 Happily married?

Please asnwer the title question with a few sentences and the survey questions. Please do not answer "I am not married" because this question is for married people. This question is not for everyone. I am doing research on love.

Please share freely because I am all ears.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Me and my friends have gone to a trip and one of my friend's b/f came along with us. we haven't told anyone about this just the four of us, as people won't understand that it was completely harmless. but i have told my b/f about this, becuase we;re used to telling eachother everything. He got a bit jealous and want to know more about him from his friend whom he knows and asked about him, and my b/f implied to this guy " who as will workes with my friend" that we all went on a trip together. and this guy didn't know his friend came along with us and went and asked my friend's b/f if its true. to conclude i was in a big trouble just becuase i was trying to be honest to my b/f and he betrayed me not thinking how this would do to my friendship and how if this got out would ruin our rep. so what shall i do with my b/f who acted out of jelousy and never thought of the consequences ?? btw we're in a 7 years relationship. and now i can't think of anything but to leave him!

Hi guys, well my bf and I have have been going out for close to a month now, and seriously i assumed he was a virgin. But the other day I asked him if he was, he told me he wasn't and he hadn't had sex since. It seems like he has been hurt by girls in the past. But now I feel so jealous or upset by the fact he isn't a virgin. I mean there is a four year difference so I can understand and everything. I don't know why i feel this way. We all have a past and everything and I hate how I have such strong feelings for him. He's a great guy and I'm really confused has ne1 else felt this way. When I told him i was a virgin he said that he completely respected me and told me it was a good thing. Help???

One day, both couples are not going to be able to have sex, either because of illness or age.

Okay long story short...me and the ex-neice kinda always had the hots for one another...I'm 29 now and she is 19, I was married to her aunt until 2 years ago when we divorced for other unrelated reasons (she decided she didn't want to be married), I remarried about 6 months ago to a cool girl but me and the neice have been knocking it since she turned 18 about a year ago...I think we have fallen in love...I know the ex's family will be livid if me and the "neice" become an item...what should I do? As much as i care for my current wife, I just don't have as much emotional draw to her as the neice...I realize that now. P.S. this may sound superficial, but my "neice", is super HOT looking and is a little sexual dynamo, so I admit that really is playing on my mind...I cannot get the neice out of my mind...day and night 24/7...what to do?

I grew up in a very abusive home, and to this day, my mother still doesn't acknowledge there was any problem.. for example.. when I was 17 I was raped, and my mother's response when I asked for help, was .. You'll get over it, and she walked away. That's just one of many examples of the crap I dealt with growing up.... anyway.. I'm 36 and to this day, my mother still doesn't acknowledge that she ever did anything wrong. I still feel really betrayed and hurt by her, and honestly I want to have a relationship with her, and I want to forgive her, but when she acts like she's done nothing wrong.. well how can I forgive her?? and how can I get closure on some really painful abusive events, caused by her??

I've got an issue with a girl I used to consider my closest friend - practically an additional sister. I've been friends with her for about 11.5 years, but we haven't spoken in the past three months. The reason beyond our falling out is most obviously my fault, as I apparently said something that greatly offended her. Our issues began after high school, when I went away to college and she stayed behind in our home town. We still talked and visited frequently, but obviously I grew in areas she did not, and she changed in ways I didn't decide to follow in. After I graduated, I came back to our beloved home town to start my own life, begin my career and prepare for grad school. She is still currently living in the same house with her folks, unemployed and not pursuing an education.

A couple days ago I asked my oldest kid for copy paper to copy some religious information and she gave me some paper to use. After copying my information and sorting it out, I scanned the other side and it had copies of a "diary" of intimate, crudely gross things that she had done with her boyfriend. I nearly dropped the papers in disgust and now I can't even look at her, let known deal with her without those words coming back to me. I wish that there was a way I could forget even seeing one word of the filth that she had written but I can't. I even broached her gently by letting her know that some of the paper that she had given to me had a diary written on it and she did not even care! How do I continue to deal with her?(She is 26 years old and still relies on my financial help because she does not work.)

I’ve always had a special thing for MUCH older men. I’m 25 and really find men in their 40's to late 60's, attractive. It's almost like a fetish, except I don't NEED the man to be much older- it's just a special touch or thrill. Most of the men I find myself attracted to fall into this category. It’s really upsetting me because I am always attracted to these men & they are never attracted to me. It’s so frustrating to have this unfulfilled desire for so many years. I don’t like many people- period- and when I do, they are usually older, and they either find it taboo to be with me or they just don’t want me for some other reason. I thought older men were normally attracted to younger women, but the only ones who appear to be attracted to me are horribly sleazy. Aren’t there any older men who are decent guys, but are attracted to younger- but legally adult- women? I am starting to think the problem is me. Maybe I’m just so unattractive that at 25, I can’t attract men who are 65. *Sighs*

i have feelings for my brother-in-law and i know its wrong! I can't help it though and I have thought the same of him feeling that way, but aint sure. My husband has cheated on me all the 15 years of our marriage, and he dont treat me with love and affection. We went on a vacation and my brother-in-law went with us. My brother-in-law treated mine and my husbands adopted son so good that it felt as if he were the father and husband. The question is what now?? How do I express myself? What do I do? how do I find out how he feels? Im scared that I got the wrong signals, and tell him how I feel and for him to tell my husband. He lives in a different state and only comes down in holidays.

I've heard some conflicting things about how men feel about sex. Men are supposedly good at separating emotion from sex and can have sex - and GREAT sex- without emotion or love, with someone they can't even stand. But then I hear stuff like that guys are bad at communicating their emotions or love for a girl, so they do it through sex to show their affection and adoration (I'm not making this up, I read it in Cosmo, a very reliable source of course! hah). Which is it? Can you really not feel any emotions for the person you're having sex with while doing it? Men are so good at separating sex from emotion, but are you good at combining them too? How does that work? Forgive me, I'm a lady who can't imagine having "hollow" sex, maybe it's just hormonal? lol. Just trying to understand men a little better. =)

My husband and I are in our late twenties. We met a group of close friends when we were in grad school for 2 years. Since then, we all moved across the country but we all meet up once a year for a long weekend.
There are 6 other couples and now we are the only ones without kids or pregnant. We are fine with this, but we often feel excluded by them. For instance,on our trip last year we shared a room w/another couple that didn't have kids.We paid the same amount as everyone else who had their own rooms.I was kind of mad but let it go because at least we didn't feel we were the only ones singled out.I'm pretty easy going in general.
This year, one friend is getting a head start on the trip planning. She found some 6 bedrooms and sent them to everyone to see if we liked any.She mentioned me and my hubby could sleep in the loft since we don't have kids. The loft is fully open to living room.I feel this is a timeto enjoy my hubby AND friends(hubby has no time off & bad hrs so I dont c him much

I have asked him to talk to his doctor for years. He continues to ignore my request. It has been more than four months since we had any type of intercourse. We tried today and he could not keep it hard for very long. We ended up having to use the vibrator for my enjoyment. I'm really tired of this.

He is only 34 years old and we have been married for 14 years. This has been a problem on and off all during our marriage. It is truly frustrating to the point I have considered leaving.
