Men, tell me if you knew in your gut that a woman was "the one" as soon as you saw her. Tell me if when you met "the one" the very first time did you NOT know she was "the one".

1 What profession are you both in?
2 How long did you date prior to marriage?
3 First marriage?
4 How old were you both when married?
5 Are you married?
6 Happily married?

Please asnwer the title question with a few sentences and the survey questions. Please do not answer "I am not married" because this question is for married people. This question is not for everyone. I am doing research on love.

Please share freely because I am all ears.

Thank you for your cooperation.

IT IS NOT LUST WHEN THE GUY THEN CHOOSES TO PURSUE THE "THE ONE". IT DOES HAPPEN BECAUSE I HAVE HEARD PEOPLE SAY THAT IT HAS HAPPENED TO THEM.

I believe it! My dad knew my mom was the one the second he met her. My husband said the second he saw me the thought "i'm going to marry her" popped into his head. He said it was weird as he'd never felt that before or even thought about marriage. I believe he thought it because he acted weirdly. We met on our first day of college. He was the first one there, sitting down and I was the second one in. I don't think it's neccesarily all about looks but something deeper than that. We were together a year before we got married, it is our first marriage. We got married YOUNG- at age 19. We are still married (for 8 years now) and as happily married as I think is possible- lol. We were both college students at the time. He's a computer programmer and I'm a realtor. We both graduated college together.

When a man first sets his eyes on a woman his thinking with his pecker not his mind or heart.

Depends on the man. They instantly know whether or not a woman has potential to be the one though.
