A week after I started college, my sister-in-law was in a car accident. My brother refused to leave her side, so I brought their four small children (ages 5, 3, and twins 1yr) to stay with me. Two weeks later, she dies. My brother was suppose to have been flying back home to CA to tell her family (we're in TN now), but no one has heard from him. He's taken off, its been weeks since I've heard from him. My parent's are out of the country for at least the next four months. I'm also responsible for my 15yr old little sister. I just turned 18 in Sept. I have no friends nor family this side of the country, so I'm on my own. My school work has been difficult to juggle. I'm still doing well in most of my classes, as I've been able to talk with my teachers... all but my math professor. I have trouble showing up for the 8am class, so I'm failing. I've written her many times, but she hasn't responded. I've been blown off when I tried to talk to her in person. What should I do?

Ok i like this girl and i talk to her often and shes the one that i can really open up with. She tries to comfort me when im down and when we talk about the past which is where most of my upset comes from she makes it past and i cant do the same to my mate since they'll say stop going soft and take it like a man but i know they didnt have a rough childhood! so i was wondering if im opening too much which would make me look like an idiot??? im a scorp and shes a pisces btw

i'm scared to tell my parents, because my brother says that they will never believe me. i really feel bad about this. he started doing this last year when i turned 14, i'm afraid that maybe its my fault because i didn't say anything then.

Can you tell me a way how to distinguish a really good friendship from romantic love WITOUT talking about physical stuff. Like I don't care how, maybe comparaisons with emotional stuff blah blah blah...

Because I'm not sure if I mixed the 2 up and I want to know!

So basically I want to know the difference between platonic love and romantic love (witout talking about getting physical because that's an obvious difference).

Our families have known each other forever and I've known them from the day I was born. They have a son the same age as my sister(older) and a daughter my age. Two and a half years ago I joined the same school as them, and regardless of how long I've known her she allowed people to spread rumors about me (she's popular and could have stopped them). Last year a girl she barely knows stretched something I said completly and told her and she didn't even bother asking for my side she just started yelling at me and stopped talking to me at school and outside of school. Then two months after that I did everythng I could to try to work things out, but she got mad and got the person I hate the most at my school to call me at my house and embarass me infront of my whole family. I then onwards decided that she was the looser not me and that I don't want to be friends with someone who hates me that much. I thought I saw I got to see who she truely was from then on. But latley I've been thinking..

For the past 2 weeks my best girl friend has been mad at her bf cause he said he wanted to go out with some girl and he keeps talking about her. Well everybody and their moms think that she should break up with him and shes been saying she will but last night she randomly told me that she didnt wanna break up with him. May i remind you that he does like somebody else. So i said that she was confusing and she got mad at me. Sensitive, I know. I wasnt exactly sure if she was mad at me or not so i called this other girl and told her what had happened and she called my friend and got to the bottom of it. Well my friend was mad at me and i called and apologized for being annoying.( I took the blame for her stupidness) and she thought that i got it from the other girl i called and now shes really pissed off at me and the other girl. I didnt get that info from the other girl. I got it from a txt my friend had sent me herself saying that everybody was annoying her. So whos to blame???

In my class there is this kid who cheats of my paper. Wheather it's test, in class assingmeants, or whatever. He always looks at my paper. Trust i dont just give it to him, sometimes he catches me off gaurd and see's my paper. He's nice and all but im getting sick of it. I tried telling him to stop and everything but he doesnt listen. Before when i caught him looking he looked away but now he just smiles/smirks at me. And Now he's friend who sits in back of me looks at my paper too. Im sick of it. And i know the teacher knows cause he looks at the kid looking at my paper but he doesnt say anything! What shouldi do?!!

Okay so the other night we were lying on his floor and he told me he had taken some pain killers and then asked me if I have ever popped Lithium. I said, "nope".
He said, "man it's a total trip, some girl used to give them to me to pop."
Okay, what he doesn't know is the fact that I have bi-polar and I'm on medications already. He just revealed to me something very pertinent. See I know for a fact you can't just pop Lithium and get some kind of magical "high" from it. It takes weeks to get into your blood stream and for it to take effect.
So, why in the world would he ask me that? I think it's a bizarre thing to ask somebody when you are making out with them, etc.

Okay, well I have this group of friends, and we go to school together and hang out and stuff, just normal stuff. The thing is, I don't really like hanging out with them that much, they're kind of boring. Plus, I sometimes feel excluded from the group. Sometimes I feel like maybe I should just ditch them, because I don't really need them, and I feel retarded when I have to dumb myself down and watch what I say to hang out with them. I want to get married next year to my long-distance girl friend of 2 years. Money is an issue to me though. I always want more so that I'll have have enough to take cae of the finances. I figure that by next year... I'll have $50,000 saved up and a $10,000 car. I have two more years of school but afterwards I will be a graduate and plan to be a RN. I wont ever be a millionaire, but I think I'll have enough enough to provide for my wife and children without having much saved up at the ned of my life. Is that ok to live with.. or should I strive to have a ton of money saved up (wait longer until I get married) so that I can leave my family with a lot by the time I die. Thanks.

My ex-husband opened up at least two joint bank accounts that I never knew about, while we were separated. After racked up credit cards, he had his name removed off the account, claiming it was hurting his credit. So, we were officially divorced 2 weeks ago, and I'm left with the open accounts that I had nothing to do with.

I called the police because the fraud department told me I should make a police statment, and they wouldn't help... they just told me to get an attourney. HELP!

when i was pregnant i didn't want sex. and he would get mad at me. now that i've had the baby and want sex he gets mad that i do want it. is he getting it some where else. like this morning in bed i was playing with him. and he didn't even say or do anything and today i said why don't we lay the kids down and go play and he went and layed ans went to sleep. is he cheating or not attracted to me anymore

for camera editing/design/etc. He knows that I haven't done much with video lately and that I'll have to borrow a camera. Do you think he's expecting a lot? Before my wife and I were married she would sign into yahoo chat and no one would ever pop up except her mom or her brother. Now that we are married it seems like when ever she signs in there are a ton of guys sending her messages. I know that these are people she has already had on her friends list and she went thru and deleted them all but I can't help but feel suspicious?

I trust her, but I don't know about them. She has told them that she got married but they still want to give her their number so she can call and they still want to hook up.

I have everything I need in my life right now.
And ususally, i would be happy and enjoying my life,
but recently for the past week, there's been this one little thing that's dragging me down, and leaves me feeling sad.

And i cant pinpoint what that is.

Because i cant figure out what it is, i cant resolve it or do anything about it. and i'm starting to get sick of the sad feeling.

I really really dont want to become a person whos always depressed and clings on to people.

I want to go back to the person i used to be about a week ago.
the happy, outgoing, not caring so much type of person.

Any suggestions on how to do that?

we just broke up... for good
its soo hard... i broke her heart three times... we've been together six and a half months... we never saw each other... she was coming home for good on dec... i lost interest but i wanted her back and got confused... she was so broken hearted BAD. i felt so bad she wanted me back and took her and now we are apart cuz i am still confused.
i am confused about her because we havent seen each other and i was loosing interest, ive been hanging out alot and enjoying it AND from there i started loosing interest (begnning of october)... i know i shouldnt call and take her back cuz she will... then i get confused and hurt her again
i love her and really miss her but my feelings wont be the same until she comes home
she might not even come home cuz she said theres nothing there anymore
i dont know, we need time but its hard
what should i do.... should i wait and hope for her to come home... or let her go forever

Do u have to be heartbroken before you be the heartbreaker. I'm asking because it seems like I'm in a circle. My first love broke up with me because I wasn't what he was looking for at the time and he wanted to see what other type's of girls were out there. My current boyfriend has deep feelings for me like I had with my ex. I don't wanna get that serious right now. My boyfriend is a very jealous person. He doesn't like when I talk to other males (friend wise). I'm starting to think I need to see what else is out there for me because I dont' know what I want in a relationship.
