Try yawning when they start. I used to use this all the time, and it worked like a charm. It shows them that what they are doing is boring and they will probably stop. It sounds silly, but I swear, it worked for me!!

Well, first thing you have to realize is that friends always pick on each other--to a point. There's a line that is there, it is different for all of us, but we all know that it is there. If your friends are crossing this line, then the next time they do it, stop whatever you are doing and tell them point blank that whatever it is that they are doing is going too far and they have to stop. If they don't, leave them in your dust because they weren't your friends in the first place.
You admit that making fun of you is easy? What kind of piss-poor attitude is that? You don't have to think you are the best thing in the world, but surely you can take more pride in yourself than that.
People who try to make fun of you are unimportant, best to completely ignore them. Why give them any of your energy? If you find this super difficult, you have an option. Just once (and you have to prepare for this and think it through), pick one time when it isn't a hulking boxing champion who is the one making fun of you, tell him to stop it because he is being insensitive and rude. When he doesn't, with all of your might, as sudden as you can, strike him on the chin or in the solar plexus or just plain tackle him. He will be stunned and immobilized for a moment in unbelief And this will likely be the last time anyone does it as word spreads.

I don't know why you would want to preserve friendships that cause you pain. I think we have all been in this situation sometime in our lives. I have walked away from people who choose to make me the pun of their jokes. Guess what that made room in my life for real friends who build me up instead of tearing me down. I now have a wonderful large circle of friends, we laugh together not at each other. You'll know real friendship when you find it, they make you happy they make you smile. You can do it!

you are awsome and they are missing something that you have. whether it be a certain glow or spark they are trying to dim your shine. dude get a hobby or a sport that has nothing to do with them. They don't respect you enough, to continue this way will only do you harm. Another idea is don't be availble when they ask that you join them. Let them miss you for a while. See if when you decide to hang out again they change the way they treat you. Truely you have something to give and they are trying to tear peices of you ego apart. Would you let that happen to you son or daughter?
NO
You can't change any one but yourself. So change your surroundings(get space between you and them).
Find yourself busy with what you like. You are made for something greater than their punching bag.

They don't sound like friends at all. You need to standup for yourself and tell them to stop! Who do they think they are? Don't sit back and just take it. You are worthy of true friends, and if you continue to hang around with these losers you may not find true friendship in others. Best of luck.
PS ignoring most of the time does no good so take a stand and tell them to back off.

They're not your friends. Let them go, I know it's hard to go through high school/middle school without friends & to "focus on your studies" but really it's most important. Do you have any friends that don't make fun of you? Maybe you should tell them how you feel, if they care about you then they will stop I think..

Learn the art of the verbal retort.Read Shakesperian
insults.
Also,Let them know what your boundaries are and
how far they are safely able to push you if it's simply
a matter of everyone teasing everyone.
Try not to own the insults, they may not mean it.
If you find that they actually do mean it.
Tell them to get effed and find new friends that will
respect your feelings more adequately.

Tell them that you don't like being made fun of and that you can't be friends with them if they continue doing it.
If they don't stop, they don't care about being your friend.
If people make fun of you, it's because there's something different about you. Maybe it's time to find other people who share that difference.
If it's a difference that you don't like, then maybe it's time to change.
