my husband took all the money (enough to live for years) that I have saved for my child. My husband and I were living together for 17 years. we were living peacefully had our own business and house. but 3 weeks before, it went bankrupt and we had to close our store. 2 weeks before my husband and i were not fighting, we were busy closing the store. at that time, my husband ran away. he stole my money that i had saved for my son, my husband's bankbook, passport, all the important things for him. i really don't know why he did this to us. we're not fighting or anything. i loved, took good care of him, i gave my life to him. why did he do this to us. Now, my question is, in my case, after my husband abandoned me, will he still come back?in the place where i am now, it's hard to get support from the government and legal actions seem impossible too. i am begging him to come back before he runs out of money so i can get the remaining sum of money he took. he might come back to take our house or sell it somewhere else while he is away. me and my son will be evicted from the house. i would appreciate suggestions. thank you very much

we have been going out for 5 months, and lots of people keep tying to break us up because a lot like her and a lot like me. Sometimes her friends even support it, and tell my gf that I was flirting with another girl and that I'm going to leave her for my ex, and stuff like that. How can i get her friends to stop doing all this stuff to me. My girlfriend says that I'm great and all, but they cant stand me.

We broke up this morning, but it was one of those breakups when it's inevitable that you'll get back together.
It has been about 2 and a half hours since I last spoke to him, but I'm already itching to talk to him..and I know that he is feeling the same way.

My SIL (DH's younger sis) is turning 23 next week. She currently is working full time with good salary and going to school part time. Her car desperately needs a paint job. MIL was just talking to her yesterday that maybe she should get it painted. SIL basically said she didn't care and would rather use the money for something else.
DH comes up with the brilliant idea to trade his car with his sis's and surprise her with a newly painted car. See, he has a business friend that could paint it for $100. We dicussed this and even though it was a little more than I wanted to spend on a birthday gift, he *really* seemed to be proud of his idea. So I said $100 max on this gift and he agreed.
Now, I just learned that $100 is just for paint and doesnt include labor. He wants to spend $200 now and I disagreed and said we should buy another gift within our original budget. He is mad at me! WWYD?

In my marriage I had to struggle and work hard and so has my husband. There was a time were were working all together 3 jobs just to make ends meet. We followed God we waited until we were married and followed Gods principles yet for a long time life was hard.

Yet I have known couples who were very cavalier about marraige and casually living together and treating God as an option not as a priority yet they materially and fiancially propser.

My question is growing up I was fairytaled to death that if I waited to have relations until I was married I would be blessed.
I have had a lot of hardhsips in the last 7 years? What to make sense of what I feel and how can I go forward and stop leaning on my own understanding? Have you ever felt that the wicked prosper and have you felt this was unfair?

Well its a long story but i'll keep it short and sweet. Basically my friend stole her step dads car, he called the cops. She got caught. I didnt because i dropped myself off at home before they could find us. But she snitched on me and told her step dad i was driving. So he told my mom....Now my mom wont let me drive untill im 18.
What can i do to gain her trust back or change her mind?
i know it was a stupid thing to do so save me the lectures.

This girl "Nicole" contacted me and I think she likes me. Why else would she be really interested in engaging me? I am in 11th grade and she is in 9th grade, but we are so perfect for each other it seems.Our personalities are almost made for each other. The problem is, neither one of us knows how to break the ice and just tell each other that we like each other. I get really nervous when I talk to her, and I don't get to talk to her very often because my 11th grade life is alot more busy than her 9th grade one. It always gets so awkward when we talk. What kind of topics should I bring up. How do I ease into a sentence so I can tell her I like her,...a note, ..words?
Any website references to advice ect would be great.

my future in laws (my bf's sisters & mom) lives in California and we have the same culture. when his mom found out about me (when we became gf & bf), his mom got mad and wants his son to marry the daughter of her friend. but my bf doesnt like her. his mom was mad at my bf and to me. and now, his sister is mad at me also and i dont know whats the reason why. maybe she doesnt like me. even im good to them. she'll be coming home in our native country to visit her dad. now im afraid if we'll have a cat fight since we had a word war over the email accusing me of being a user and all. but its not all true!
how will i deal her if we will see each other?? i dont like to have a fight w/ her. my bf isnt coming home so no one will protect me. what will i do? will i show up if ever we'll meet?

I need help with my dtr's anger issues. When she gets angry (which is frequently) gets out of control and worry about it a lot.
Anyone knows how she can get help and what kind of help I should look into for her? She refuses psychotherapy and argues constantly at home.
Any groups/books/therapy methods I can look into?

my wife keeps nagging and abusing me in front of the girl child (9 yrs old). my wife has lose temprament and just too expecting and demanding. she has all the facilities but just make a fuss out of nothing. i have been avoiding her abuse and i m under psychatric care with dosage of sedatives and tranquillisers , as i feel i my self esteem and ego is eradicated in pulling on with such a fussy and abusive spouse but i love my child a lot and i don't want her to deprive of her childhood with a single parent and financial constraints.my child is also being pampered by my spouse as she is very interested in junk food stuff and roaming around. This is getting worrisome for me. i m just hapless and hopeless about the situation. i tried to convince my spouse about this but she is too aggressive and all my efforts are in vain.

My friend has been together with her boyfriend for over twenty years. Last summer, they finally decided to get married. Now, they are getting a divorce.

My friend says her husband is trying to divorce her. She was served with the divorce papers and she refused to sign them.

Her soon to be ex-husband says that if she refuses to sign them it will result in a legal divorce with or with out her consent.

Can this actually happen? Or is he just bluffing?

--I mean its not gonna change anything. Im just curious,..if you (people) call it a DATE?(it was in high school). i mean we've known that we're just friends,..n we would go out alot before that. We'd go to movies,..he would take me to dancing, (just the 2 of us). Is prom..in general,..called having a date for that night or what? If it was,..than i will feel even special.) She is never ever allowed to go anywhere with/o her children it's a rule.We are in outside sales,during the work week a few of us go to lunch if she goes she has to lie. He calls her several times during the day if she doesn't answer right away it causes a bad fight.We had a work seminar he interupted, to yell at he cause she didn't answer the phone,after she explained what was going on the night before. She can't talk on the phone after work if he's there. If the girls go shopping on a Sat. afternoon she can't go ever! She sneaks in phone calls when she is running errands for him for beer or chew,he works on base but calls her to go on base to buy it.No work related functions after 5:00.We took her for lunch on her B'day he took her cell phone left the house want's a divorce.She gets up @ 4am sets his clothes,coffee every a.m. does all the women chores,groceries etc.drives kids everywhere,age 12, 14&4.& they have30 farm animals for fun not profit she takes care of the bills as well.

I have a 15 yr gr daughter who can not seem to get along with her mother, they bicker, fight. My gr dtr recently didn't come home after school, she wants to live with me. She doesn't realize I am a bigger tryant then her Mom. I raised mine do I have to raise hers. I love her dearly, but my health isn't the best. Help!!
