We'd go to movies,..he would take me to dancing, (just the 2 of us). Is prom..in general,..called having a date for that night or what? If it was,..than i will feel even special.) A date is a date is a date. If you go out with someone of the opposite sex and go it alone it is official. Good friends or not, you had a date and relax did it kill you. Now take a deep breath and go on another one with him or someone else. it won't kill you your not married! have fun your life will someday get more involved than that anyway

later and good dating ;)

freinds go to the prom together for many reasons like they don't have a date and so they go together. They want to try something new with each other. Or they just don't want to ask anybody else. I know you want to feel special but you already are . I mean you must be for him to be your friends especially for a long period of time. You should ask him if you really want to know cuz otherwise your just searching for a flashlight in the dark.

No I do not agree it is a DATE if you are going as friends then you are still friends.
A date is when you have OTHER emotions that you are hoping to build on DURING each date.
IF you went to a baseball game with him would you still be asking this question?

NOW IF ONE is hoping to make more out of this friendship then they would call it a DATE..... guess the two of you should be talking about your feelings if that is the case.

Best of Luck

What about "going to the prom". I knew a woman who was not interested in me, but we both liked live theater. She got tickets from her work so I paid for dinner. Is this a "date." I call it going to dinner and theater with somebody that likes dinner and theater.

no its not a date unless yall was into each other and wanted more outta it. I just call it chilling with your friend. if he likes you or you like him and he did it because he is a true friend then i think you should feel special because of that

Did he buy you a meal, flowers corasage?
Did you buy a dress, did he rent a tux.
Duh it's a date!!

If y'all went to a ball game or played paint ball in jeans and such, then that's just hanging out. But to get all decked up for it, it was a date.

bypass on your place or one among your pals. From what you have reported, you do no longer prefer to stay everywhere considering which you reported which you do no longer prefer to stay in a inn consequently of reality there are to many random human beings!! Plus, in trouble-free terms use the three hundred$ to purchase stuff to make it better exciting!
