My parents are keeping our two kids and we are going out. A rare thing for us. We have plans to go to dinner and maybe see a movie. And of course the "alone time". lol. What else could we do to make our night special? We thought about getting a suit room at a motel in our town to have a big bath tub with jets. Would that be worth the money or should we just come back home?

An inlaw of mine has been having trouble in the bedroom with her husband - their whole marriage. The best analogy is the "Al Bundy effect" - he only lasts maybe a minute or so and that's it. How do I know this? She has a habit of sharing the info with people. In any case, he does other things but nothing that he has tried (or she has) makes any improvement.
Now, they are at the point that nothing has happened between them for months. From what I understand, she doesn't think it's even worth it anymore. Suggestions?

This trainer at my gym and this other guy(these are two older guys in their 50's)were making conversation when suddenly the trainer said something.I asked the other guy what it was and he said they were discussing how hard it was to find suitable partners in this day and age because women are so picky or whatever, but the trainer(who is on cool terms with me)said i bet he doesn't have a girfriend.but not in a malicious way.I have good things going for me-in shape, intelligent good musician.(23 years old) I got a little sensitive about it and asked the other guy if he was intently bagging on me and he said no,that they were just talking about relationships in general. What do i make of all of this and how should i take it?

I'm good friends with the couple, and since they already live together and have much of what they want, have decided to give them cash. I have a number in my head, but when I mentioned it to a friend, she said it was too much.

What do you think would be an appropraite dollar amount to give as a gift?

hey- i have a really good friend and i really like spending time with her, but sometimes I will say something she doesn't agree with or she thinks i'm wrong about and she will really get defensive about what she thinks is right.
i'm the kind of person that is pretty relaxed about other peoples opinions, so it bothers me, because i don't like the tension it causes. i also don't like feeling like what i think isn't valuable, too, or that i just might be right!!
how do i deal in this situation without making things awkward? (especially when it's about something that i know i'm right about, because it really bothers me but i don't want to push it because she'll just get more argumentative)

I love my husband very much. He's a good man and a good provider and he loves me. But there is one thing about him that I am ashamed to say really turns me off...over the past couple of years, his teeth have begun to fall out and he even has front teeth and bottom teeth missing. The few remaining teeth are awful. He has always brushed his teeth daily and has good hygiene, but his family has a history of severe dental problems. When we got married, 20 years ago, his teeth were fine. It's not that he hasn't been to the dentist and tried to get them taken care of. Even though we have dental insurance, it only will pay a mere fraction of the cost of oral surgery and dentures. (Also, I know he is now avoiding the dentists because he doesn't want to get dentures....he's only 42.) We don't have $6000 to pay upfront. But lately, I am having great difficulty just being close to him and I feel so terrible and shallow for feeling that way. Any advice?

I like my best guy friend, I mean really like. Maybe even love. But I don't want to ask him out too soon. He's girlfriend broke up with him like 2 or 3 days ago, adn my cousin said she heard him say he didn't want a girlfriend right now. He know that I like him beacuse my BFF told him. [[with my ok]] My cousin said to wait a week, then ask him out, but by then he might be going out with someone else. My BFF likes him too, and we're both okay with each other liking him. She thinks that he likes me, but I don't think he does. I never asked him out, but he does know that I like him and hasn;t said anything about me, so he most likely wouldn't like me. He does flirt with me and I fell like I can tell him anything, I can trust him. What should I do? Should I ask him out or what? Please help me!!!!! Thanks! Makenize<3

I'm a single person in his mid-thirties and was never married nor will I ever get married (just don't tell me you haven't found the right person yet" ). I'm happy as a single person - I date and have healthy relationships with ladies, with whom when I enter a relationship I tell them I have no intentions of getting married, no matter how big the love is - so it's a mutual consensus.

First of all, my family and some friends keep saying "stop wasting you life" and get married once and for all. The other thing I hear from my parents: you should have kids before you turn 40 and we want to be grandparents.

I tell my friends and family that my happiness is defined by me and only by me, and in that defined happiness I include a lifelong non-matrimonal life and no children.

So my question is: Why do people get married? To make themselves happy or just to follow society's trend of getting married since the majority of human beings get married one time or another.

We've been living commonlaw since 2000 and I want to get married. He's 57 and I'm 44, we're not kids and nor do we want any as we have three from previous marriages. We've discussed marriage and he's against it. Only thing is I'm worried about my future as his Will hasn't been changed and in the eyes of the law we are married. Am I responsible for his debts? Everything in his will went to his ex-wife who is deceased and in the event of her death to her son. What are my rights? Would you tell him how you are feeling?

My husband cheated on me and when I asked him if he regreted it he said no, he said he only felt bad after he saw what it had done to me and how much it hurt me. He said that he doesn't like to regret things, and that it was just a ****! He says he feels bad but he must not if he doesn't feel any kind of guilt for what he did, I just dont understand!
