My parents are keeping our two kids and we are going out. A rare thing for us. We have plans to go to dinner and maybe see a movie. And of course the "alone time". lol. What else could we do to make our night special? We thought about getting a suit room at a motel in our town to have a big bath tub with jets. Would that be worth the money or should we just come back home?

Babe, leave no stone un turned, you got an army man... he needs to come home and get a bit of extra special treatment when he gets the chance. You dont need turbojets in the tub or movies neceserily. I suggest having a "nice time" earlier on, go out and do the romantic thing, then having a "nasty time" later on, and do the sexy thing. Both are important, dont miss either of the two.

While a night out of the house might sound really good, the idea of getting to be alone in your own house is appealing. You get to enjoy your house without hearing children around. It's sort of like when you were a kid (or well, teen), and your parents left for the night or left you for a weekend if you were old enough. It's all yours to enjoy without the duties.
I guess which do you want more: waited on away from home with a jet tub or the comforts of home?

I think it would be worth the money, since you said that having a date night together was rare for you two, it would make it even more special.

Staying someplace nice overnight,is always a good thing.
It lets you put your everyday troubles out of sight for a while....
If you like the jacuzzi, go for it , it either puts me in the mood or to sleep...

since your life is hectic enough you may want time alone at home without the kids but the room does sound good though I'd skip the movie :)

that sounds awsome and it would be great for your relationship and you guys should do it more often. maybe not every weekend but at least once a month and enjoy yourselves. HAVE LOTS of FUN!!!!
