what would be a good question to ask online to someone
im starting to just talk to some random person and i'd like to get to know them a little bit more but any question i think of seems kinda creepy, like its asking for a bit too much info
got any good questions?

You could start off my making sure you use capital letters, commas and full stops in the right place. This is important if you are going to be communicating literarily.
Just ask them whatever you want to, let them get to know you by giving them an idea of whats happening in your head, do that by asking any kind of question. If they don't like your questions, find someone who does. The internet is full of people!

Ask them what kind of music and movies they like. how they like to spend their free time. Ask about hobbies, pets, just general chit chat.
