I recently found out that my best friend is a double-sided jerk off and that's made me alot more self-concious and anti-social. It has affected my confidence and ability to have a lot of (if any) social interaction. My other friends are noticing and I've even shut myself away from them. Does anyone have any advice?

Ok basically.. my bf was having a relasionship with his grade school love..over the phone she lives 3000miles away in his home town.and he was planning on moving there summer of 08. Tell him and i started dating. We started dating last sep. not to serious by xmas he went home and hooked up with this grl. Then him and i got serious after he came home. He rushed from V,A to AZ just to be able to give me a new yrs kiss. Then march i had a miscarraig..3 days later i look in his phone and see texts to her saying "miss u love u , thinking of u , do u still love me" ..He lied up and down and finally said sorry it was a huge mistake. MY DUMBUTT forgave him..had alot of probs after cause of it..::trust::..so i started to do some bad thngs i very much regret!!!!!! then thngs got worse cause he would just lie and lie about her. and then she was added to his myspace and was on his top next to me =/ wtf he said shes just a friend and it wasnt the grl who i found him texting in march..

My sister lived in an apartment with a girl from work. it didn't last very long because her roomate was stealing her jewelry and clothes and belts and even underwear!! But its not that all these things were really that exspensive its just that I live on an island in the carribean and my sister lives back in the states and alll that jewelry and the shirts from Margarittaville and her other clothes were basically all from here on the island that we bought TOGETHER!! My mom and me live here on the island and there all presents from us or things we did together. Now that we don't get to see eachother as often she really tressures those peices because they remind her of me and my mom when she wears them.Her roomate works with her and wears the jewelry. everyone knows she stole it from my sister.She just wont give it back and my sister can't get it because she takes it all to her moms house to hide it.my sister called the mom, wrote letters, and talked to her. What should she do?

I am 67, but look 53 and my girlfriend is 34 & does not act 34. My problem is that sometime I am asked if that is my daughter and that is a big insult to me. What do you say to someone who ask that question? I have never even had a daughter and I think it is rude of them to ask and I feel like telling them so.

i love my boyfriend with half my heart. i love my best friend with ALL my heart! of coarse, neither of the two know. but ulysses(my best friend) is the man of my dreams. he is my twin mentally. its crazy, i never smile as much as i do with him. we both do the same things unintentionally and when we call eachother to talk about it... its liek deja vu! i have felt like this since i met him in 7th grade and even told him one time... kinda... alright, he asked if i ever liked him in the past and i said yes. i never said i still do though! *sigh. i wish i did right then and there! its just so hard. sometimes he says he has a big secret to tell me and my heart tells me he is going to confess his love for me... but then he tells me he is gay, he gave oral sex, or something crazy like that. i want to cry every time! every girlfriend he introduces me to are my sworn enemies! lol. i havent met any of his boyfriends though... grrr! lol. what should i do!

I'm 20. In college, financially insecure, emotionally unstable (depression and anxiety). I had sex with a guy. He stopped once he saw I was crying. (I've been sexually abused in the past and sex makes me cringe). Anyhow, I found out I was pregnant. I was actually really excited. No one knew about him and I, but we had been in love for about 6 months. We both felt very blessed and started planning the best we could.

Only to have him confronted by the police. He has a bad habit of theft at work. Grand Theft, to be exact. Which is a felony. That you go to jail for. He's such a good and beautiful person though.

Only to get a MySpace message from 2 sisters that I didn't know existed, that my father hid from me. They had pictures with us together, birth certificates.

Only to have my 3yr old nephew get hit by a truck, barely live, now paralyzed.

Only to miscarry my baby on Sunday.

I've never been so alone. No one knows. I still work, school. What am i to do? I'm lost

I have been married for 5 years. Everything was wonderful until my husband had an adjustment disorder after the death of his friend and hurt me in the worst way possible (before this, we never fought, rarely argued, and had NO problems at all). It has been a year and I still can't move past it. Everything has become even better than before, but the thought is still there, it still crosses my mind, some days are better than others. I know I have forgiven him, but I can't forget. Sometimes I wonder if it's worth it. How long did it take you to let go?

Whenever I start some new project, or do something new, or just do ordinary things, there is a low life personage, or several, abusing me, humiliating me and so on. ok my bf nd i have been going out for 2 months now nd we go to different schools we met last year when we both transfered to the school im in now but he moved. Thanks for the good advice. Husband left me for a women who lives down the street and he lives down the street so I see them all of the time. Your good advice was to ignore them and let it go.
OK.
What next? How do I start a life here, in this neighborhood, in which they are both well known and invited to every social event. ( No, I don't talk and cry and complain to people in the neighborhood (only my mother) but they seem to have taken his side because of the power that they both yield, politically and socially). A woman ina couple that we were friends with and she and I used to go shopping and also walk for execise twice a week dropped me because her husband wanted to stay friends with my husband and OW. People volunteer that it must be hard for me, given that it is in my face. Whenever they ask about him, I stay neutral or say something positive. Is this the wrong approach? We do have two little kids that I don't want to suffer.

How do I start my own life? Thanks.

When we first hooked up, I work for three years before we had our first baby, after she was born i wanted to go back to work or go back to school, he said i should stay home since he grew up without his mom being at home (she worked) and he wanted his kids to have that. Well, 2years later we had another baby and i kept telling him i wanted to go to school because the kids would eventually go to school and i would be alone at home. again he said the kids needed me and i should stop being selfish! four years later we had another baby and to make a long story short, they are all in school now and during the years we opened a home based business that has done quite well over the years, but now with gas prices going up and the cost of living rising, and not to mention our kids wanting more expensive toys -2 r teenagers now! we r have a hard time keeping up with all the bills! ok see i have been talking to this guy for like 2 yrs now and well we dated for like 4 months and then he dumped me for his ex. well see the thing is that its a long distance relationship b/c I live in NC and he lives in Wisconsin. If you are rude to someone and you know you were out of order. You are on a road island waiting to cross the road and the guy is standing in front of you.

However, you are with a work colleague and it is night time. If you see the guy in front of you would you approach them and apologise? Or does the fact that you are with a colleague stop you from approaching the guy?

In other words would you wait until the next time so see the person when it is only you two to apologise or would you still do it front of your colleague?
