After 16 years, my husband and I had a child. She is now 7. In the last 3 years he's had some health problems, became an alcholic (in recovery) and won't get a job. The first 20 years he worked. Now, he does nothing. I've given up my home and moved to a less expensive house. I've moved away from my friends and a place I loved. I am the sole supporter of my family. I make enough money to live off of, but he is sucking me dry. He hasn't touched me in over a year. How do I tell my child, that I gave life to, that I waited many years to have, with what and who I thought was a good person, that I have to leave? How do I take her and leave?

Honestly, its the story of my life! I'm not sure if I'm imagining it but I've had loads of guys after me since I started dating years ago. Some even proposed to me but I was not in love with them. Then there have been a few that I was crazy in love with but they were less into me and therefore I didn't get them. I'm now 40+ so I'm really beginning to think its like some sort of cruel destiny! What is going on? Someone please please help me to understand what appears to be a 'curse' on my love life

He is a mute from Taiwan and I told him I was so in love with him and he clammed up on me and just started to leave these clues that he loves me too but he won't talk at all to me. ( Iam here too) He is in the army doing his mandatory training and language isn't the problem..its his personality..he sucks big time! i told him I wanted him to teach me everything and share all my dreams with him. WTF who thinks I should smack him! i sent him care packages every month!

Not so long ago a friend of mine met this guy online and they've been exchanging e-mails and stuff. Last night they talked over the phone and they both seem to like each other. Mind you, they live close together so meeting is not a problem. But she is worried if it's too soon to meet him and naturally she doesn't want him to think that she's desperate or anything. It's not like there's an etiquette for this type of thing, right? :P

So what do you think she should do? Oh and please, if any of you get started on it being pathetic to like a person one never met in person, you'll have to face my wrath :P Kidding only, ok?

I been devestated by a loveless marriage and was in love with someone (or so I thought). He had a bad marriage too and not so good relationships. I asked him about his last relationship. She kicked him out.
We have been intimate with each other off and on. He says he wants to help me get through some things. I kind of backed off. 2days later I run to see him. He says he misses me and I miss him too. We talk and then he teases me into doing it and I break. It's weird because when we are he is so gentle. Its like he knew I needed it and he seems to enjoy wearing my defenses down. I see it when he touches me. I notice he tends to ask me whether I am only with him. Then he mentions something about he knows i want to have his baby! WHAT the??...this last time he doesn't put on the protection. What is this about? We both already have children. I like the intimacy but I am not trying to go there. What is this guy thinking? Ok people I know what you're thinking. It's not that I love my career more than my gf, but I cannot simply ignore what i've been working for for basically all my life. Part of my job is to go abroad, and like many people I simply can't afford (financially and because it's work) to take her with me. She thinks I don't love her even when I try to assure her that I really do, and that I cannot simply not go to work and go abroad etc. and I cannot quit/ change job either. What can I do to make her happy? without sacrificing my job.

Wel first of all, its my Senior year of high school, and we get to pick the "Most _______" out of school spirit, attractive, best eyes, etc.

So, if a guy walked up to you and asked what your last name was, would you ask why?

If so, if he told you he was putting you down for something in the "best ______" sheet. Would you ask what one he was putting your name down for?

And if he said for the most attractive, would you think that would be cute or not? I want to do this to a girl i think really does look attractive, and we only have homeroom together. We never talked before in a conversation. I only know her first name. Please answer all of the questions!

I have to just be honest. Most of the time, my focus is on me, and my thoughts are about how do I look; How many women looked at me; focusing on maintaining my confidence in public, along with other things I have to do even, and also, trying to get a girls attention (get her to look at me). How in the world do I break myself to pay attention to her genuinely, instead of worrying about what I look like? It's a fricken curse that I want to break.
