Not so long ago a friend of mine met this guy online and they've been exchanging e-mails and stuff. Last night they talked over the phone and they both seem to like each other. Mind you, they live close together so meeting is not a problem. But she is worried if it's too soon to meet him and naturally she doesn't want him to think that she's desperate or anything. It's not like there's an etiquette for this type of thing, right? :P

So what do you think she should do? Oh and please, if any of you get started on it being pathetic to like a person one never met in person, you'll have to face my wrath :P Kidding only, ok?

Thanks for your help in advance :)

I think it would be a fine idea to meet.
BUT, make sure your friend does it in a public place, I personally think that the mall is a great place to do this.
AND, seeing as they aren't boyfriend and girlfriend yet, I think they would both be comfortable with you being there.
The reason I say you should be there is just in case, you never know what will happen, so it's just for safety reasons, really.

The best idea would be for them to meat for coffee, and see each other face to face. At that point each will consider, and decide, whether to take their relationship to the next level.
