I believe romance is better with anticipation, and just giving into sex isn't the ultimate of romance. The secret is to make is desirable as a motivation, and that can be sweeter than surrendering to passion and giving up on the buildup. Remember, the greater the anticipation, the sweeter the reward.

Don't u worry girl,u r not alone.I have been dating my boy friend for almost a year.I explained that i don't wanna have sex before i get married and also why i wanne wait till my wedding night. We have a clear understanding of this view point and as a result,we r pretty much ok with the whole thing. We watch movies together,we talk intimately,we hug, kiss, try out new dishes and stuff. We r building on the other parts of our relationship coz the part we're missing will be the subject when the right time comes. So girl,i love ur principle coz it matches with mine.Explain ur side on this to ur boy,he loves ya right? then..no worries he'll understand.U see people joke about being virgin, people think there's sth wrong with ya and stuff. What's worse, most of them don't believe ya.But still, what the heck..its ur life so run it as u want it.Glad u r walking with ur principles along side..way too go girl...coz principles never fail ya!!! so keep being u..and u will see...my word

There are many forms of hugging and kissing, some can be very romantic. I especially like the gentle kisses where hands touch cheeks. If you want a Romantic DATE, there's always the classic candle-lit dinner.
Remember that there's nothing wrong with waiting until you are married. Dispite what's common these days, you're not the only one who is waiting.

Take a promise from him that he will allow you to remain as a virgin till marriage. Then move forward with dating. It is a matter of restraint from both of you. I have married to a girl after 10 years of courtship. Except some naughty things like kiss and hug, we never cross the line (we had enough chances to do that). That is only becase we were determined that we wanted to do that only on our first night.

just don't do it. I respect your stand and view about sex. there are only a few people who have the same principles like you do. I married my wife a virgin and we dated 3 years before that...we started as best friends like you guys did.
Just be strong and don't give in. Tell him that this is your best gift for him on you wedding night. That was my wife told me....good luck!

First of all you did not specify your culture., cos i believe all of what you are stems from your culture,if you are western,it might be correct to believe that one tends to be exposed to some peer pressures in that clime.
secondly, from my point of view and from experience, your boyfriend will appreciate you more without sex for now....,in the meantime, concentrate on things that can build your relationship.make time for what you care about individually,as well as each other, such as hobbies, spending time with a special friend, developing new interests,or sports activities

Do all the other nice stuff that people do when dating: Go to the movies, candle light dinners, sport activities, spending time with mutual friends, volunteer work, etc.

1.) Stop dating
2.) Buy a chastity belt and use it
3.) Do it all by email/snailmail/Internet
Other than that, you're in the same boat as the rest of humanity: Ya pays yer money and takes yer chances!!!
