IF TEARS COULD BUILD A STAIRWAY

If tears could build a stairway
And memories a lane,
I could walk right up to heaven
And bring you home again.
No Farewell words were spoken
No time to say good-bye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why.
My heart's still active in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one can ever know.
But now I know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store.
Since you'll never be forgotten
I pledge to you today
A hallowed place within my heart
Is where you'll always stay.
God knows why, with chilling touch,
Death gathers those we love so much,
And what now seems so strange and dim,
Will all be clear, when we meet Him.
I Knew you for a Moment

IN MEMORY OF...

You never said I'm leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knew why
A million times I needed you,
A million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died
In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place,
That no one could ever fill
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn't go alone
For part of me went with you,
The day God took you home

The peak year for divorce is indeed 7 years after the wedding.(as in the film)

Lots of couples have taken the matter out of the equation by not getting married in the first place. The Proposal I saw eminated from Germany and it was simply that civil marriages are for 7 years with an option for renewal.

I haven't sussed out what happens to the children or how the house and pension and future earnings are divied up.

Any thoughts?

well she met him on some island trip or something and invited him for us to meet and I was casual about the whole thing. it turns out he's 'separated', i don't think he's divorced and just a year 'separated', so he says. i find out that during 'separation' he had another girlfriend (I saw her pic on my sis's mobile) and she was really slutty people. (this ex already girlfriend had brought in the cruise her 25 yrs old boyfriend while she's like 36 and said to everybody 'it's a sex thing'). he mentioned that several times, being bitter and all. listen, I really don't care about this guy. but pleassseee, is my sister stupid or what? and if she's not, hey, i don't think she thinks so highly of me, right? what a mess.
he said he'd like to see me again and his eyes were like he had taken drugs or something when he was looking at me. but now on second thought that would be stupid right? why do I have a feeling he's a sex maniac?

It all started while drinking. She got really mad at him and he said some really mean things to her. We started talking and relating, and it led to us making out and doing other things. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, but she seems to be avoiding me..Do you think it's because she wants to ignore the feelings towards me? Or is it because she is ashamed that it ever happened? Just please give me your thoughts.

How could this woman suggest that marriages last only 7 years????????
She has admitted to being divorced twice...twice....She is basing her suggestion on her personal experience....we don't know what precipitated her divorces...It could have been anything....There are thousands and thousands of marriages that last forever. My anniversary is in November and we will be married for 19 years...sure there have been rough spots but we both love each other....It is the people out there who are not willing to work for their marriages or who end up with the wrong person who are giving marriage a bad rep...We should NOT have to renew our marriage license or anything of the like because of those marriages out there that have not worked out.....

Ok I work at a gym and I also have a racquetball class there through my college. Well my racquetball teacher also works at the gym as a personal trainer. Well he is nice and everything.. but I always seem to find him looking at me. He is married and about 11 years older than me and I am friends with his wife too.. Well anyway, today I asked him a question and he teases me and says I owe him running time for not being there the other day for class cuz i had a doc. appt. Well I am always self conscious and I feel like he will look at my @ss, and as I was walking off, I looked back and he was looking back at me. But you know how men are! I dont know why, it seems weird! What do you think? Do you think he just looks at me cuz I am young or what? And when we are practicing, he grabs my shoulders to try and put me where I am supposed to stand on the court. I will admit, he is kinda cute, but I dont understand why he would tell me to run for him if he kinda liked me?

I've been seeing somebody for several months. Before me, she had an ongoing physical relationship with her exboyfriend who would play games with her. He cheated on her. He would sleep with her and then blow her off which hurt her emotionally, but she kept going back anyway. My girlfriend and I made an arrangement that she would not see him any more.

Now she has "coincidentally" ended up in a class with him. After the last class she was an hour late getting over to meet me and she didn't call, which is very unlike her, and she told me she was hanging out with him. I'm also suddenly noticing some weirdness in our relationship, but this could just be jealousy on my part -- it's hard to tell.

She insists that what they had is totally over and she's only interested in being with me.

So what's the appropriate course of action?

My best friend is getting married next week after a two year engagement. She is furious with me and is refusing to talk to me because I can no longer be in her wedding :( I'm her maid of honor, but I'm 8 months pregnant and on complete bed rest. I'm trying not to stress because I know this can hurt my unborn child, and I did not plan to have to step down from her wedding. I told her she could ask one of the other girls several months ago when I started having problems with my pregnancy but she said that wouldn't be neccessary. She was mad because I was unable to put together a bachlorette party and bridal shower, and I explained to her early on, that financially and physically I would be unable. Now she wont talk to me at all, saying that I just want all the attention because I'm finally having a baby after several years of trying. I could see if I purposly did something, but the Doctors are making my activity limited.
We've been friends for 7 years. What do I do???

Girls, when you're in the streets and you see a guy looking at you, do you look back at him a second time or do you only do that if he's hot?
Also, if you'd like him to smile at you, isn't it weird to smile at a stranger?

I swear dating is so weird and random and crazy sometimes! I was out sat night, saw a hot guy, he say me too, we stared and smiled at each other for a while. I went up to the bar finally, then he came over and talked to me. We talked for the rest of the night. He is really cute and nice. end of the night, he gets my #. Next day i still felt excited about him, but figured, he wont call. he called monday evening. We talked for abuot 20 minutes. He explains he's going home (out of state) wed and will be back sunday. He says, i know it's a week away, but would you want to get together when i get back? Im thinking yes! He said he'd call this monday or tues. So..i cant stop thinking about this guy! I'm thinking good outcomes, bad outcomes, it's crazy. I would rather not think about him at all! Has anyone ever experienced this and it actually worked out? Or do these situations usually blow up in one's face?

Why do *many* (not saying all) at home moms feel entitled to boss around their husband to do cleaning chores after they get home from working 8 hours?

It doesn't take 8 hours to vaccume and wash dishes and do a few loads of laundry. I can do these chores (house-wide) in about 3 hours (yes I have kids). Then I have another 5 hours to PLAY (not work) with my kids. I take a break anytime I want. I have no deadlines to meet. I am never worried I'll be out of a job, or that I'll be reprimanded for a sub-par job (okay, so I didn't put away the dishes, and I didn't vaccume under the rugs!) My husband would never (even dream) reprimand me for lack of perfection.

What is it with some at home moms? Is it that they just don't see all the things a man does at work or emotions he feels in his heart?

i am a stage actress, and the roles i get would almost always involve me getting physical with a co-actor. now, i met my boyfriend because of theatre also, so i figured he will understand. (my boyfriend before him broke up with me because of the same thing) turns out that he doesn't understand after all. we had a huge fight and i asked him if it didn't matter to him that i choose to be with him despite the roles i get. he said it didn't matter. so i broke up with him.

i guess my question is, in the future, should i turn down roles that ask me to get physical just so that it wouldn't hurt possible future boyfriends? or are there guys out there who could understand that this is what i love doing and would still love me despite the roles i get?

I asked a girl I really like out on a date, I think her parents are coming. Is this anything I should be worried about in the future? It isn't that i don't like her parents, I really like them. I just wanted to spend some one on one time with their daughter. Every time we meet she is with her parents, she is really religious and conservative, sort of old fashioned, but I like that. Oh, and she is in her mid to late 20's.

I am a single mother w/ 2 kids and have financially struggled to support my family. My boyfriend of 2 yrs & 3mos. does help me on a weekly basis and cares for me deeply. Likewise I feel the same. Communication has been a problem because he will not emotionally open up to me (he is a man of pride). We both go out on the weekends - separately. I just turned 30 and am ready to get married with my love. He tells me in the near future we will marry but will not confirm when? I am a hard worker and ready to move on and easily drop him if need be for the sake of my kids future and mine (he is wonderful around them). Please give me your advice. Do you think I am waisting my time? Or should I date behind his back. He is financially stable but most of all I would like to take care of him in the way a wife should. I'm so confused??
