My friend's bf broke up with her and now he asked me out. I've been secretly wishing that he would ask me out but I didn't think it would actually happen. The worse thing is, she still likes him and wants me to help get them back together. I don't want to lose a friend but he really seems to like me and we are great friends. PLEASE HELP ME! ASAP

I really don't want to seem like a conceited bi*tch, im really not i hate people like that but i know that guys find me attractive. I typically don't like all those arrogant football players and preps and i go for the quiet, smart, and dorky kids. Im a drama geek myself. This one kid, he's nerd, and i really like him. no girl really finds him attractive and my friends think im crazy that i like him. but i still do. and he completely ignores me. its as if he purposefully tries to avoid me or something. I try to smile and say hi in the halls but its as if he will have nothing to do with me. He talked to me once, and he seemed nice but after that, like if we are in groups he won't talk to me, or if i ask him a question he'll look away. I don't know why he treats me like this, i was only nice to him, and he won't even be my friend. the weird thing is, we barely know each other. Why is he doing this to me, i hate it, he's killing, me he only makes me like him even more. what should i do?

I am sitting next to this amazingly hot football player in my human anatomy and physiology class. I just want to be friends with him right now, but how do I break the ice? We don't really talk, unless I/he asks a question to the other person. He hangs out with the guys in my class, so I don't want to intrude on guy time, but I do want to be friends with him. Any suggestions... tips? I'm not very forward with guys, so please keep that in mind. Thank you!!

my half sister is 20 years older than me and she is my godmother- so she is important, but the fact is im not really close at all with her, she's gonna want to be in the wedding (she's pushy and gets her way too much) but, i dont want her in the wedding party like my other half sister..... so where do i put her? personal attendant is dumb b/c she'll want all the arrangements her way-not mine (my wedding).... i want her to FEEL important without being the center of attention...
HELP!!!!
P.S. my other brother is the same way, but im putting him as an usher, and my other brother/godfather is taking me down the aisle, b/c my dad is dead and we are close

Her and I have actually been together, twice now.. But she has ended it both times, because she "wasn't ready", considering the fact that she still has feelings for this other gentlemen.
She DOES love me, and wants to be with me, but with this other dude she's friends with, I just can't see it happening.
As of now, her and I are the best of friends, and care for each other beyond words~
But she has this same relationship with the other guy.
In other words.. She's super close to us both.

Don't get me wrong.. My friendship with her means the WORLD to me.. But my deep passionate love for her is still there and is continuously growing.

So I guess the real question here is.. Should I continue waiting for her? Or just hide my pain and love, and keep our stable friendship?
It's really a hard situation I'm in, and it has been ruining my enjoyment of life..

ok i know this question doesnt go in this section and im sorry to those people who r made becuz of this but i just think that there are more people in this section. ok now for my question. When I scrunch my hair it gets SO tangled. i use garnier fructis spray gel and when i use it i scrunch my hair. my hair gets really pretty but its all knotty and so tangled. when i go to wash my hair, so much hair falls out and i have to sit 5 minutes before taking my shower just to get all the tangles out. is their a way that i can still get my pretty curls without all the knots and tangles and also a way to not get my hair to fall out so much. ooh about my hair falling out i dont use the product on my scalp so im not sure why its falling out. PLLLLZZZZ HELP ME!!!

I enforced child support April of 2006 and it was official through courts July 2006. I have been calling the Child Support Services Dept every Monday for update and got no real answers then I recieved a court date February 2007 and he didnt show. Then a bench warrent went out for his arrest and still nothing. I filed for another enforcement in July 2007 and last week I called and they said it was in the Intake Dept. I supplied them with his social, date of birth and place of residency and nothing has been done. Why does this have to be so hard? Why do I have to force him to take care of his child and why do I have to force the government to their jobs?

Asks you when your getting your braces off because he says he finds girls with braces "unattractive"? I told him soon and he said "good". Hes in two of my classes and he keeps bothering me to go out with this kid in our class. Then today a girl in my class told me she thinks he likes me because he only bothers girls he likes. I lost my husband a year ago in Aug. I cannot imagine being with another man. My mother-in-law passed away last nov. and my father-in-law has already remarried in aug. Am I wrong staying by myself? I'm 28 years old and I still fear what they think of me. They are in their 60's and live in another region of the country. The distance has cured some strains in our relationship, but there are a couple decisions I have to make. I don't see a reason to consult them, because all I'll get are nagging and criticism. I hate being reminded of how much I suck and how badly I manage my life. Here are two major decisions:

1. filing bankruptcy-the debt is too great.

2. getting married-after 4 years with the same person, it's about time.

To #2 they would tell me that I'm too young and immature. They probably won't even go to the wedding.

If they had it their way, I wouldn't be married until I'm 35. In the meantime, they want me to move in with them. Normally that's an age when parents are pressuring their children to have children, but these parents are different!

kk this is wuts up... im 14, 6 feet, somewhat muscular, but i have a slight acne problem and wear glasses. Some people say a best friend is like your other half. Well, if this is true, my other half is my best friend – Kareema – because though I have several close friends, she is really the one who deserves the title of best. She is my supporter and my most trusted confidant. She has many characteristics that I admire and that fit the description of a true friend.

What made me want to become friends with Kareema is the way she brightens people lives. She is so happy and carefree most of the time, which can be contagious. Even if I am sick or upset about something, she still smiles and jokes, which makes whatever was bringing me down seem trivial.

Also, Kareema is someone that I can talk to about anything without having to fear being laughed at. She knows how to keep a secret and shares her innermost thoughts with me as well. Whether we are having an in-depth conversation or just idle chitchat, I feel like we both have a deep understanding of each other.

Another thing I like about Kareema is that she is very considerate. She would never intentionally do something to hurt someone else’s feelings. She tries not to let people feel left out and will usually help others if she is able to. From lending money to others to lending her time, Kareema is someone I can always go to if I need something.

Since Kareema is such a wonderful person you may ask what I would do without her. I truly do not know. It would feel like a part of me was missing, or maybe like I was hollow. I would turn to my other friends, but it would never be quite the same. I would miss that very close, almost sisterly bond we shared. Even if I looked far and wide, I still don’t think I could find anyone who could replace Kareema.

He has a girlfriend the he has been with for 5 years. He tells me that he is tired of her attitude and that she nags all the time. He wants to leave and when he doesnt he wants to ask me to marry him.

When she calls...he doesnt speak to her very well. In fact they fight every single day. He has tried to leave her in the past but she acts like she is weak, she becomes depressed and she tells him things like...you used me. Than she threatens him that she will commit suicide.

He feels guilty and says he feels sorry for her and cant deal with things like people commiting suicide or getting sick,etc. He hardly goes to even see her and when he does its because she needs things like a ride, etc. He tells me to just be a friend for now because he wants to leave her but doesnt know if he can because he cant live with himself if she does something. Than he says that he wants to marry me and loves me and he is trying to leave her and to give him some time.

Whats going on here?
