I lost my husband a year ago in Aug. I cannot imagine being with another man. My mother-in-law passed away last nov. and my father-in-law has already remarried in aug. Am I wrong staying by myself? Help me understand how people just forget about the person they were with for years and just start another life.

You should do what you feel in your heart, don't let anybody tell you any different. Some people can move on faster than others, I no I could not do that, I've lost alot of people in my life, My father and brother years ago and it still feels like it happened yesterday. You will never forget your husband, you will always keep him in your heart forever, and if and when your ready to date, just take things slow, and maybe someday you may meet somebody else who you fall in love with, and thats ok, because you shouldn't be alone forever, and you will be able to give that person your love and heart, but you still will always have your husband in a part of your heart always. You will date someone when you get ready. My husband died in 05 and I have not dated yet. He was a wonderful man, and I don't know if anyone could treat me as good as he treated me. If you want to go out by all means go out, but if you want to live by yourself, that is perfectly fine. No one can tell you how to feel, or what to do. You are not alone in how you feel, so just enjoy all the memories.

Hi,

It’s good to see such a nice lady here. Anyways I would suggest you to forget your past and get married to another guy. I have a question, do you have children? If so you have to rethink your decision.

Regards,
Vish
