I think the song Lean on Me by Bill Withers would be a great choice! Here's the words-

Sometimes in our lives
We all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there's
Always tomorrow

Lean on me
When you're not strong
I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
Till I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on

Please, swallow your pride
If I have things
You need to borrow
For no one can fill
Those of your needs
That you won't let show

You just call on me brother
When you need a hand
We all need somebody
To lean on
I just might have a problem
That you'll understand
We all need somebody to lean on

Lean on me
When you're not strong
I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For, it won't be long
Till I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on

You just call on me brother
When you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem
That you'd understand
We all need somebody to lean on

If there is a load
You have to bare
That you can't carry
I'm right up the road
I'll share your load
If you just call me
Call Me
If you need a friend
(Call Me)
Call Me
If you need a friend
(Call Me)
If you ever need a friend
(Call Me)
Call Me
If you need a friend

Another excellent choice would be That's What Friends are For. Here are the lyrics and the song:

And I, never thought I'd feel this way
And as far as I'm concerned
I'm glad I got the chance to say
That I do believe I love you

And if, I should ever go away
Well then close your eyes and try
To feel the way we do today
And then if you can remember

Keep smiling, keep shining
Knowing you can always count on me, for sure
That's what friends are for
For/In good times and/in bad times
I'll be on your side forever more
That's what friends are for

Well you came and opened me
And now there's so much more I see
And so by the way I thank you

And then, for the times when we're apart
Well then close your eyes and know
These words are coming from my hearts
And then if you can remember

Keep smiling, keep shining
Knowing you can always count on me, for sure
That's what friends are for
For/In good times and/in bad times
I'll be on your side forever more
That's what friends are for

Is that the only reason ya'll are dancing together...to acknowledge you cousin who passed....if so these songs would be nice!
Who you'd be today- Kenny Chesney
One sweet day- Mariah Carey
When I get where Im going- Brad Paisley
He walks with me- Brad Paisley

Honestly if you just google sentimental songs about loss...you will find plenty.

Usher and Brian Mcknight have some really good love songs, some are tear jerkers but say it how it is. Try those and sorry about the loss, how horrible that was but, look what came out of it???????

Good Luck and a long healthy marriage

if its a fast song you want, then - pussycat dolls( buttons, baby love, when i grow up, wait a minute, beep), lady gaga (just dance), jennifer lopez ( get right, let's get loud, play, feeling so good), Kevin rudolph (let it rock) or if you want slow songs - tony Bennett ( the way you look tonight), keisha cole ( heaven sent), ciara (promise), peter gabriel (book of love), seal (kiss from a rose, love's divine, i can't stand the rain), sade ( cherish the day, smooth operator, by your side), mariah carey, whitney houston, well this is all i can offer for now.

Hi,
My votes with Kayo.
Lean on me has the most perfect words, especially for your cousin (when it says "just call on me brother").
And also, it's not slow and soppy, you can still have fun with it and it's not so depressing, this is a fun day keep it fun with this song I say!!!!
Deepest sympathy for your families loss!

" I Will Remember You "
I'm not sure who it is by but here are some of the lyrics:

"I will remember you, will you remember me? Don't let your life pass you by, speak not for the memories...."

It is a beautiful song and I think it would be perfect.

My condolenses and congradulations.
