ok well a short while ago I had asked a question about my ex gf. I had told my ex I wasnt going to talk to her anymore because I still love her and she doesnt want a relationship with me. But when i told her this she got very emotional and cried so I told her I wouldnt just leave her like that...it would break her heart since I am her "best friend". But now I've been talkin to her still and it just hurts talking to her so much!!!! I love talking to her since we are so much alike but the love is still there(well for me) and that feeling just rips me apart on the inside. I know most people are just going to say move on...and i've tried...dated other girls but still. The problem is I want to cut all contact with her but then I dont... I know that if i do I am not being a good friend to her by just leaving her. But if I keep talking to her I am just going to have hopes for another relationship with her. I am so torn on what to do...I don't want to hurt her again...last time she cried....

I am not married but am involved with someone who is. (Please no lectures on the wrongness of affairs, etc etc). She has no plans to leave her spouse, which is fine as she obviously is unfaithful- which is not my fault. She actually initiated our relationship. This is not her first affair. She claims she loves her partner and is perfectly happy with them - I have asked her how she can cheat on him if she "loves" him and her response is always "I don't know" or she gets into how much she likes me.

Now keep in mind - I have never cheated on my significant other (when I've been involved, which I currently am not). And yes, I understand that doesn't make this situation "OK". Now if I become involved in a relationship with someone - I will end it with her. I do not condone cheating. This question isn't about me - I am just confused as to the entire situation. Has anyone else been in HER shoes?? I am interested in input - NOT in comments condeming affairs - that's already understood.

How do you keep a relationship with someone alive, and let them feel there is chemistry on the dates?? My bf is a nice guy, his friends are all nice, and his parents met me before and they seem really nice. He's different from other guys I guess, but my mom says that guys want to win the girl's heart, not have the girl be too caring for him. That's my mom point of view on guys. Most of the guys in my school don't like girls who pay too much attention to them. So how do I know which on my boyfriend is?? Should I give him a lot of care and attention, or should I play hard-to-get and let him try and chase me?? Also, how do I let him feel that there is chemistry on our dates??

I am 27, my hysterectomy was done in 01/07. My doc did a total complete abdominal. Ever since I have not felt like the same person at all. Before I was in pain alot that is why my husband and I both thought this would be good. But now that I have physically recovered just fine, my hormones are a mess! They can not get me right after giving me many diff. types of hormones. I don't talk to my husband, I haven't had sex with my husband, it's like I am not married. We have been together 10 years and he is the love of my life. He had been telling something had to change or he was going to leave. He thinks that I just don't care and that I use my hysterectomy for an excuse on all of it. Well he left me 3 days ago and my world has come to a total end! He won't talk to me or anything, no matter how much I tell him I love him and want him he will not come home. He says I should have said all that sooner. I really can not take life right now and I feel like it just needs to end. What do i do?

I'm having friend problems. We have been friends for EVER (she is my main friend) and recently she has been treating me really badly. Like on the weekends (it has happened 3 weekends in a row!) she will invite all these other people and i will be the last one to be invited or an after thought and then be called. And when ever i go with her her boyfriend goes along and she sometimes forgets that i am even there, i already called her on it and she never changes!
It is kind of hard for me because i have not had boyfriend yet. And throught out the years i have always been much more into boys then she has. So its like she does not care about boys and then bang she gets a boyfriend and i don't have one.
And it is really starting to piss me off!
Overall i am angry that she is forgeting about me and putting me last.
p.s. my mom says i should not forget her but just start hanging out with other people

For the past few months I have found myself lusting after the father of the little girl I babysit. He is 42 and I am 18. That makes him 24 years older than me. It's purely sexual lust, nothing emotional. I, of course, would NEVER EVER act on it, but is it okay/normal for me to be feeling this? Does lust usually discriminate based on age, or does it have no boundaries? It's purely a fantasy for me, but is it healthy or is there something wrong with me?

How does the "average" guy in his 40's (early 40's) view an 18- or 19-year-old? As sexy and someone he would sleep with if no one would ever know (and if there wasn't the cultural taboo)? Or more as his daughter?

I'm 17 and for the past 7 months this guy and I have been hanging out with other friends together, and sometimes to the movies together with or without friends. I HAVE made out with him but have told him I will not have sex because I'm just not ready for that at this time. He says he's not trying to have sex, just make out, but I dont know. He's been texting me alot more lately and when we are alone, I feel like he's trying to get to that point, but I always tell him no and that he needs to make up his mind if we are just friends or does he want more than just friendship (a real relationship). He says he doesnt know. Should I keep making out with him and hope he will see that I WONT sleep with him, or get out now? I'm so confused because he's been chasing me alot more now and I'm thinking maybe he will decide if he wants me or not. Any advice?

i've always been with successful men. i am successful myself.
lately i met this guy and i really like him. we've been dating for around 2 months now. the thing bothering me is that he's without a job, and he doesnt want to find one which i dont blame him because he wants to do his own business. but now since we started going out he wants me to be involved with him in work (we work in the same field and i am a free lancer) so all he wants is to be with me since the moment i wake up, and i need to spend few hours alone each day or i go crazy. when we're not together he's calling all the time and complaining about missing me and asking what time are we meeting. so even when i am home alone he's with me either on the phone or on chat. i explained to him that i dont like this but he doesnt seem to understand. he also says that if i encourage him he will work but i always upset him so he doesnt get to concentrate on work. i dont want someone depending on me that much.

I've been with a guy for two months. We had sex and now i'm losing interest. Is it bad of me for feeling this way?. He's a really nice guy, besides all the jerks i delt with. I want him to come clean and be honest if he feel the same way. He haven't showed any signs of losing interest. I feel bad for giving in so soon, because he's someone i can see my self for a long time. Help what shoul i do?

I just broke up with my boyfriend of 1 year one week ago. It was long overdue and I feel so relieved. It was a bad relationship (I was always lied to).
ANYWAY, I met this new amazing guy the day after. He went around telling everyone that he really liked me and wanted a relationship with me but he didn't want to be a rebound. Now it's as though he's ignoring me! I text him, initiate conversation on MSN, but he doesn't seem interested. I asked him to come out on Saturday night but he declined. Why is he telling everyone he likes me if he's avoiding me? Is it because he thinks I need time so he's NOT a rebound? I am ready to move on, so should I tell him this? HELP!

We are doing the long distance relationship thing but its been tough. It seems like she is not being honest with me about things but I can't be sure. I know girls probably have certain ways that they would be able to know and I was just wondering if someone could help me out.

I seem to have this recurring problem with all my boyfriends (not that there have been that many!) and I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything I can do to resolve it. Firstly, with all my boyfriends, despite them being the ones who liked me and asked me out, they don't seem to take intiative when it comes to sex. I ALWAYS have to make the first move for things to get, well, steamy. I don't understand this. It makes me feel exasperated. I am sure, as young men, they must want to, but they never take control. Any ideas as to how to get them to do this?
Secondly, most of them seem to have a problem with staying the distance, if you know what I mean. Not like it's a clinical problem, but it's usually been over in about five minutes. Is this normal, or is it something I am doing wrong? Is there anything I can do to make it better? All help is much appreciated, thank you.

someone? If you are able to message back and forth through the service, is there a reason you should or shouldn't give your e-mail to a stranger? I feel uncomfortable when the guys ask right away for my e-mail address or give me theirs. Is my feeling legitimate?

My bf and I recently got back together (about a month ago), and at the beginning, he was very romantic, always telling me he loved me, etc. (We dated for a year before, and we're both 24). Anyway, recently, he's stopped saying that so much...now he only says it in response to my saying it first. I mentioned to him today that I would really like to hear how he feels about me more often. He said my telling him that makes him want to be more standoffish and not say "i love you" as much.

So, my question is...what do I do? How do I make myself feel better if trying to talk to him about it just pushes him away? What will make him tell me this more often?

My boyfriend and I went to a large city recently and he was amazed by the big airplanes that we've never got to see up close. He has always been thrilled by the thought of being a pilot but has never been up before. For his 21st bday on Sept. 28th, I want to send him for a flight lesson and then if he enjoys it have him continue to get a pilots lic. Is a flying lesson a good 21st bday gift??? Especially if hes never done it but always wanted too???
