I just broke up with my boyfriend of 1 year one week ago. It was long overdue and I feel so relieved. It was a bad relationship (I was always lied to).
ANYWAY, I met this new amazing guy the day after. He went around telling everyone that he really liked me and wanted a relationship with me but he didn't want to be a rebound. Now it's as though he's ignoring me! I text him, initiate conversation on MSN, but he doesn't seem interested. I asked him to come out on Saturday night but he declined. Why is he telling everyone he likes me if he's avoiding me? Is it because he thinks I need time so he's NOT a rebound? I am ready to move on, so should I tell him this? HELP!

Frist off you don't get over someone, you simply accept it for what it is, usually thats over. That aside you are looking for a rebound and your not wise enough to yourself to see that, ether that or your not exactly sure what makes a good, geniune relationship. Heres a hint, since you already know lieing doesn't make it, if all they can say is they like you, and tell everyone else that, IT DOESN'T MATTER!!!! You wouldn't want a relaitonship with someone like that anyways. Cut him out, you've already paid for selling yourself short before, don't do it again. Expect more from people that love you, geeze. They diss you, leave them be, with a good geniune relationship you don't have to work so hard to make the "right" descion, you feel like you have no choice thats what makes it so beautiful. So if you find yourself making choices about weather you should be with them or not, or try or not, leave it. Because when you feel what a deep, geniune relationship is you don't have to make that choice... besides until you finaly come to terms with why you stay'd with someone you loved even thou they lied to you, your not ready for a relationship....
