Asks you when your getting your braces off because he says he finds girls with braces "unattractive"? I told him soon and he said "good". Hes in two of my classes and he keeps bothering me to go out with this kid in our class. Then today a girl in my class told me she thinks he likes me because he only bothers girls he likes. He also likes this other girl amanda. Hes really immature and arrogant but I don't know what to do now. Do I still talk to him even if he is just messing with my head?

Now I told him today that I didn't like that other guy he wants me to go out with. And he asked me who I liked then and I told him I wouldn't tell him anyway. So he goes and says something really stupid like " I know its hard telling the one you like that you adore them" with this idiot grin on his face like hes trying to prove that I like him. What now?

What an asshole. I can't believe he said that to you. Guys like that do no deserve your time of day. If he is holding himself back because you ahve braces, he's an immature guy. Well, this is what I suggest: Don't be too hopeful and Stick to your gut feeling. Just be a friend to him for now. You do not need to set your heart on one guy right now because there is always that possibility of rejection. If you don't get your hopes up and he ends up going out with this Amanda girl, you won't get hurt too badly. Good luck with your braces. you'll look beautiful. Also I hate it when someone tells me " oh ____ likes you." They are either messing with you or its the truth twisted around. You never know.

What a little punk, don't even give him the time of day. I hated being young and liking boys that were rude like that. Ask him if he's going to get a new face, cause the face he has now is "unattractive". Just give it back to him just as hard and go for the cute, sweet boy with the braces.

I'm guessing that he's kind of awkward about talking with girls and he's using the braces as a way to approach you. like you said, he's immature. he's coaxing you to go out with another guy in your class but this too is probably just a way to talk with you. i would bet that he secretly wants you to say that your not interested in the other guy. if you're turned off by his immaturity and arrogance but he's not in some way hurting you (through his words) then just be yourself. if you don't mind his personality.

Ignore him! He sounds very superficial. If he was worth going out with, it wouldn't matter to him whether or not you've got braces. Plus, if he's got this other girl on your radar screen, who knows how many others there may or may not be. You described him perfectly ... immature and arrogant. Why hang out with someone like that. Keep looking...there are guys who will want to take you out with (and eventually) without braces! Good luck!!

He sounds a bit immature so think about if this is the type of guy you actually want to go out with.
But, sometimes a guy will tease a girl for atttention because he secretly likes her which might be happening here.
I would still talk to him.
But just as a mate, if thats what you want.
To me, guys like this are only good as mates.

Don't let a boy bother you if he is. Just ignore him if it is bothering you. And don't worry, girl, I got braces too and I think they are absolutely adorable and you are going to look 10 times better than everybody else because of it!

Tell him to bug off on your braces. Their not your fault. And if he has to get your attention by bothering then he has no idea how handle himself. Stay away.
