I don't get the notion. I know technically to have romantic love you have to have sexual attraction right? Well isn't that lust, so isn't that wrong?

Like and also like I don't get this but yeah don't call me bi or a lesbian but... like I fell in love with a girl once like my best friend. I didn't want to 'do her' in the sense or wanted or 'had to' but I wanted to kiss her and hold her (but nothing more) I guess like a romantic friendship, since having sex would have meant lust or lost of innocence. I guess you could have said it wouldn't have mattered if we had that kind of relationship since we we're soo close. Although I wasn't sexually attracted to her I would have gave my body for the sake of love and unity. So what does that mean isn't that true love? I kind of got crushed kind of like a heart break when she said no btw. so what was that?

For guys I like them and I'm sexually but like i'dd have sex out of lust, I'm not sure I could fall, 'fall in love' with them?

I am nearly 30 years old with a 2 year old daughter. I live about 40 minutes away from my family and 3 hours away from my husband's family. We made plans about 2 weeks ago to go and see them on our "monthly" visit. A family friend of my father's (with whom I am not all that close) was celebrating her 80th birthday. When she invited me and my family (through my father) I told them I had to regret as I had already made plans to go and see my husband's side of the family. She was fine with this. On the day of her birthday celebration, my sister, who is 2 years younger than me, called and stated that her boyfriend could not drive her the 3.5 hours to our family friend's birthday party and wanted me to change my plans and drive her. When I did not she started sending me nasty text messages and called our mother, who sided with her. My sister told me I was being selfish and that she'd break plans to drive me.

Have you ever given a girl a compliment that you didn't really believe just to get her to like you? What was your true motive?

I'm not sure if I'm one of the few women out there but I never want to marry or have kids. I've been in a relationship with the same man for seven years. (I'm 27,he's 36) I love him to death. We're been living together for four years, have great careers and are happy together. However I made up my mind a long time ago that I never wanted to do the whole marriage thing and he feels the same way. I'm tired of women telling me that I'm going to miss out by not having children or that I'm young and I will change my mind. My family/friends are always asking me when I'm getting married and I'm just sick of it. I think happiness differs for everyone and right now I'm pretty happy with my life/relationship. Are there other people out there like me? haha What do you guys think??

i have a 14 year old son who hates the air his dad breathes. We were both young when my son was born (i was 13 and he was 14). Our relationship ended about 5 months after my son was born. He was a good dad up until my son was about 9. that's when his "fiance" came into the picture. and since he met her he has been slacking as a dad big time. He would make promises to come and get my son for the weekend and never show up... not even call and say i cant make it. Would promise to come to my sons football games or take him to practice and never show. Promise to buy him stuff and never get it etc.

Anywho, me and my now husband have been together off and on since i was 14 and even in our off periods he has been like a father to my son. My son even calls him dad and calls his "father" by his real name. My husband and son are very close, and it's partially because he's always been there to pick up when his "father" let him down. now my son is 14 and we have a situation.

cont.

sometimes I feel I am cursed.....I know too much. I sense what other people are feeling and thinking. I'm overwhelmed. I know when things are going to happen, and I know what decisions I have to make, and I know the outcomes. I have vivid dreams that I cannot explain and I know my spiritual guide. I know why I am here and why I was born.......
I know too much..
It's hard in my family, in my marraige, no one understands me. Before anyone says anything, I know the answer.
I am a housewife, and I feel I am going crazy.....I'm angry, I'm frustrated. My husband doesn't understand, I told him before we were married and even after, but he cannot grasp it. Now more than ever, I'm craving "alone time" and he doesn't "get it".......I am so much more than a mom and wife......more than he realizes.....I had considered to start smoking to "quiet" my head.....I have other gifts as well....he doesn't understand why I want to use my gifts....

I've had this guy friend for a year but he lives in another state. We knew each other before but not very well. Also flirted when chatting a few times and there is chemistry. A few months ago, we arranged to meet and had this meeting a few days ago when we met and made out...but not full sex as I said I didnt want to so soon. I've heard that if a guy wants sex very early on, it means hes out for a fling. Is this true? He had planned a trip another guy friend of his but has now invited me to come with them. Thing is, I feel embarassed about moving quite intimate and I dont know why I feel like this. Also there was a lot of passion. He told me nothing has changed just because we did this and that I'm still invited on the trip. I just want to know what are the signs to look for that he is also falling for me? he is a decent guy.

Me and my ex split up 7 months ago but its only now that we are friends again.
My b\f also knows my ex - I have been seeing him for a month.
I don't wanna ask if it bothers him in case he then starts wondering if he should be bothered by it and then it becomes a problem when it shouldn't be in the first place

So about 8 months ago, my boyfriend's ex put in her buddy info something about me being unattractive. She saw my picture on his myspace page (she's not his friend, she was just looking at his page). He got mad at her and deleted her from his buddy list and said he was blocking her. A few months ago, he had IM open and I saw that she was back on his buddy list. Since she crossed the line and started talking about me, I put her on my buddy list and see what her info says because I want to see if she's talking sh!t about me again or leaving messages for him. Is this out of line?

I'm not mad at him because she does it but the fact that she's leaving messages for him in her buddy info and he has her on his buddy list drives me up the wall. He has a long history with this girl and she wants to get back with him (even though she's married) so I don't trust her. If they're keeping tabs on each other, I feel like I need to keep tabs on her. Just want to know what people think.

When a girl stares at you from distance, then when you look she looks away. She does this for several weeks, then she randomly comes up to you and starts talking to you and being all nice and bumping her arm into yours. Then she goes through the door the same time I'm going out when she could've gone through earlier, or she cuts through my line behind me.

because i think he's too shy to make the 1st move. also, we went through a lot of drama last yr & it resulted in us both getting hurt. i think he still likes me, but is afraid of getting hurt again.

if i ask him out, where should we go as a 1st date?

My father is always working and seldom home. When I was growing up as a kid he never took an active interest in my life, never taught me sports or technical stuff. Even when he is at home there is not much communication and he's always watching TV or reading a newspaper. He also gets frustrated very easily and vents his anger at work on me. Once he grabbed me by the hands and dragged me across the floor from one place to another to cane me. He also threatened to expel me from the home. He is always harsh with me so I tried to ignore him. I think he got the message and virtually ignored me as well. This went on for many years.
So here u have a 20 year old young man with low self-esteem and feeling like s.h.i.t. and a father who is workaholic and whom I'm still afraid of.

My girlfriend and I broke up literally 2 weeks ago out of a serious 2 year relationship, in that 2 weeks she got a new job and met someone at work. I spoke with her a couple days ago and she has a b/f now, she said she wishes we never broke up and this is her way of moving on, cause she's afraid to be lonely. Don't you think its too early for her to be in a relationship?? i mean come one this is like jr high kind of ****.

I'm an American on assignment in Japan for year. It's an intensive assignment and the only vacation I have for the whole year is at Thanksgiving, when I'm planning to meet my girlfriend in Hawaii. I was just about to ask my boss for an extra day off since it will be the only time in the whole year that my gf and I will be able to see each other (she can't take time off, either, except at Thanksgiving--long story). But one of my co-workers thought that the boss wouldn't go for the extra time off if it was "only" to see my gf. (In this job taking even one day off does put a big load on my co-workers--I have to arrange in advance for people to handle my specific duties, etc.). My co-worker said I should instead tell the boss that my family is having a long-planned reunion for my parents' 50th anniversary. I hate to mislead my boss, but I definitely want to see my true love. What do you all think? Which would hold more water with you if you were the boss--true love or a family reunion?
