I have been dating my boyfriend for 10 months now. H e just told me that he is not divorced. He told me that he was divorced. He was really a married man when we first met. His wife just filed for divorce a couple of months ago. He has been living with me for over 5 months. What should I do?

Let me guess his excuse was he didnt want to loose u an he was getting the divorce anyway...What makes you so sure his wife is signing these papers, has he showed u or have u spoken 2her? I was seeing a guy before and although he werent married he told me he wasnt with the mother of his child anymore, used 2take me 2 hisdads (where he supposedly lived) until one day she phoned me an asked me y i was callin her mans phone! No i didnt leave him straight away an that was the mistake i made, givin the second chance cos then they think they can always get away with these 'little lies'. I managed 2break free lol. Anyway im not sayin dont give him a second chance, jus find out all the facts and make it CLEAR to him that lyin 2 u is unacceptable. Good Luck

Even the most 'amicable' divorce can take more than 18 months to be finalised. Perhaps your boyfriend was so attracted to your many good qualities and afraid of losing you that he at first told you a simplified version while starting his divorce?
Have either of you actually done anything else bad or dishonest to each other?
Does he have any extreme views about trouser-presses, for example?

Tell him you need to see proof of the divorce as soon as it happens and that now because of his lie, there may be some trust issues coming along. He shouldn't have lied to you and you should tell him that and make him KNOW it. Then, when he's actually divorced, tell him you need proof.

If he will cheat on her, there is nothing to stop him from cheating on you. If you don't have trust, you might as well not even be together. Kick him to the curb. There are plenty of trust-worthy guys out there. Hold out for a good one, and believe with all your heart that you deserve it!

thats sounds like a terrible situation and a very terrible guy also. you should get yourself out of the situation a.s.a.p. he is going to do what he can now to seem nice and he might try to give you something or take you somewhere. ignore it all. if you let yourself stay with him thats like saying thats all you deserve, and mama you deserve WAY! better

He apparently wasn't "your boyfriend". You just assumed it. He's had 5 months of free milk. Don't expect him to buy the cow now.

i broke up with my ex because he lied about EVERYTHING... and now, i'm moving over 1000 miles away... i wonder if that is far enough?

your guy is not only a LIAR but a CHEATER too....

ask yourself if this is the type of person you want to be with...
