He does but he also does stuff on his computer and i want to spend more time with him. I love him dearly but sometimes I feel like he rather be on his computer then with me.

I was his secretary and in love with him, but we were just good friends. He got married but within a few years both of them realized they were totally unsuited, but they wanted to have children so they did. The wife stopped having sex with him years ago and gained a huge amount of weight. Now they barely talk to each other. The husband and I soon found that we were totally compatible, and he became very close to my parents and siblings. We've been in a sexual relationship for several years and we spend at least 10 hours together every week and we text each other constantly. He loves me and says we're soulmates, but he doesn't want to walk out on his wife until the kids are old enough to handle it. He has organized for both of us and a couple of friends to go on a holiday (with an elaborate story for an alibi) to make up for the times I'm left alone. If he's willing to take such risks to make me happy, is there hope for me and should I keep waiting till he leaves his wife?

I have been in an abusive relationship before.. my ex hit me so i ended up fighting back, we went to counceling and the counceler told me to stop fighting back and the violence would stop ... it didnt, so i got out of the relationship and evtually that woman who told me not to fight back got fired.

It has been years since that happened ive had a couple boyfreinds since then and just got engaged again, He was wonderful!! and promised never to hit me, he knew my past and wantd to kick my exs a$$ but i never let him.. He asked me to marry him last januaray and i accepted.... of course, military man, whole nine yards... well i hurt my back at work last friday, all the muscles on my left side were pulled.. i asked him to stay so i wouldnt be alone and ended up waking him up, cause he was kneeing me while i slept and hurtong my back even more... he got upset... words were exchanged and he got up to leave. I rolled over and tried to stop him from leaving... not my intention on waking him

I've been with my boyfriend for about four months. He always complains about how his life sucks. He was adopted when he was younger..his real mom was a prostitute and he was apartly hurt as a kid but he doesn't remember any of it. His parents now aren't the most loving parents but they did adopt him so they MUST care about him.

I'm really sick of him complaining about things that personally I think he does appreciate what he has because a lot of people have it much worse than him...but he's starting to realize that but he still talks about "ohh my life sucks..." and it's hard because it makes me feel like nothing..

I know he does love me and I really do love him but I don't know if I can deal with this forever.
Also he's kind of clingy and is moderetly depressed so breaking up would be hard.

Any opinons and advice is great!

I have been married for 7 years. We have been together for 10 years. We separated last Oct but we cont. to communicate with each other. One min my husband would say he love me and the next min he didnt. He always said it was because of my mouth. Tomorrow he will be filing for a divorce. How do I let it go because I think he has really made up his mind and don't want this marriage anymore. I love my husband and wish I could make things work.

If you'd been offered a scholarship to attend Cambridge University (in the UK) for a PhD programme that is likely to take 5 years - would you go? What about if you'd just met the man you consider to be the love of your life and would have to leave him behind in America?

This is the situation I am in. I already knew I was starting at Cambridge when I met this man and he knew it too but we didn't know how strongly we were going to feel about each other. We've only known each other since June, so it seems too early to try to make arrangements for him to move to England with me. I'm due to leave in a matter of weeks. Should I just end the relationship with him before I go?

I honestly consider him to be the love of my life.

I am married to a handsome, kind affectionate, romantic engineer husband. He is my dream man. I have a little problem. He is a nose stud fetish. ...and they live to talk about it, how people try to deny their experiences?

They do this by saying things like, "Now you have an opportunity to be a good parent to make up for it!" (puts the burden on the abused to make up for it)

Or they immediately talk about how well their mother cared for them.

Or they apologize, *then* talk about how they were loved.

Anything but have to actually deal with the reality that some mothers are very, very bad--even evil.

When the child becomes adult, people directly or indirectly blame the abused/neglected child itself for somehow being bad, bringing it on, making excuses for the mother.

This is just a note to let all of you know: Not only is doing this not helpful, it is, in fact, counter-productive to building a healthy society.

Being abandoned by a mother creates immense challenges to survival. The overall impact of such a loss needs to be taken more seriously.

Winning answer=either most shallow or most enlightened. May it be the latter!

It feels like everything is my fault and it hurts so bad that i cry every single day. My husband doesnt understand me at all and even though i try talking with him about whats bothering me or how im feeling he still doesnt take time out to communicate with me. I am currently 32 weeks pregnant with his child and Im going through many changes and dealing with mood swings and everything concering. I feel by myself in this pregnancy even though i have a husband and when i tell him this he just says nothing and i feel ignored. I wake up very upset and scared that he will leave me any day. Back in january or february he was about to leave me and then we found out i was pregnant then he changed his mind and stayed with me i guess. I cant talk to him about nothing so thats why i have to come online and talk to complete strangers about my problems because either he wont listen or just say im blowing things out of porportune.(word not spelled right.) Im just frustrated and he dont even know :(
