My husband and I have been married for almost two years. At first I thought that our difficulties were because we did not live together before we were married and we needed to get used to one anothers habits. But as time goes on, we are having more problems not less. It is just the two of us, with two dogs. He has his dream job and I have a decent job. We fight over money, the dogs, chores around the house . . . almost everything. So here is part of my problem, he works on call and doesn't have a normal schedule, he comes home and sleeps and doesn't think that he should be responsible for any thing around the house that he doesn't want to be. He wants me to take care of him, take care of the house, and everything else. He will help if he has slept as long as he likes, done whatever he wants on the computer, and talked to his friends from work. He ignores me and thinks that I shouldn't ask him to spend time with me. He says he will do it on his own if I leave him alone. RIGHT.

She and her family are here from San Francisco (I'm in L. A), they planned on leaving later on this afternoon but the 16 yr old daughter found out that there's a gathering at a park near her house today and wants to leave early. Her family still wants to stay. Do you think they should just leave early to accomodate their daughters request knowing she only found out late last night? We don't see them often and planned to prepare nice lunch and all for them. Please give answer as we compromised that what ever answers we get that will be the decision.

My best friend (who is a female, i am male). We used to do everything together. And spend everyday together, just hanging out or having fun. She suddenly started seeing this guy and she stopped spending time with me, I was devastated and we fell out for ages and ages. Then we talked about it and decided to be friends again - we saw each other a lot more and they were both more accomodating towards me. I have recently had a text from another friend telling me that the boyfriend has ended it and she is v.upset. I have met her and helped her and kept her company, but don't know what else to do. Sometimes I feel like I am being used, because she did not want to know me when she was with her bf and now she has no-one she just wants the company. What do I do and also how do I deal with the whole situation. Any advice

I don't want to get into the whole story (because that will take more than 1000 characters...) but I was with this guy about 5 years ago, we broke up on a semi-bad note and he STILL calls from time to time. I have asked him to stop calling and tried to show him in so many different ways that i'm not interested in him anymore (i've even had a boyfriend after I broke up with him AND told him about it) but I can tell by the nature of his phone calls he still thinks there is something there. Please what can I do to get him to stop!!

** I can't change my number because its my mom's house number that he is calling...not my cell phone.

http://www.overlawyered.com/2005/12/david_letterman_restraining_order.html
Of course we all know that it is because of the discriminating Violence Against Women Act in which a woman can get a restraining order on virtually anyone and for any reason with out any sort of evidence and only her word.
I am completly for protecting women from abusers but at what expense should this be done. Should we just give out RO's like they are candy and regardless of the absurdity of the claims and the lack of substancial evidence.
This is, in fact, the number one tool used by women in divorce in order to remove the father from the childrens lives and then to establish herself as custodial parent through a series of other dirty tricks that the court seems to not only look the other way on, but promote using these tactics.
How can we ensure that we protect women who are truely victims of abuse yet also protect men what are victims of absurd claims based off no evidence?

me and two guys from college are living together. We had an extra room and we let another kid from our freshmen floor to stay with us. He's one of those guys that we let hang around even though he's kinda annoying and creepy. he's only been here 2 weeks this year, but we constantly catch him goin into our rooms looking through our stuff and stealing minor things... ciggs, food, pot. last nite we went to a party of another freshmen floormate and we caught him going through their pantry and fridge stealing food and beer. When he follows us to the bar we sits there with us and just looks ahead and drinks. The kid is ugly looking but he could atleast be somewhat presentable if he showered daily and changed clothes. He also lies constantly to our faces, even when we know and prove to him hes lying. wtf is wrong with the kid? theres gotta be something psychological.

I dated a guy for almost 2 years, I moved across the United states for him, and he became my life. I was completly in love. About nine months ago he broke up with me, and I had the worst time getting over it, actually I am still not over it. I became depressed, suicidal, and just not me. About a week or so ago me and him started talking again, we decided it would be good to become friends again. He has been really sweet and I thought this would help me get over the situation but a few days ago he told me he was a idiot to let me go, and how he had someone who loved him and he ****** it up. I still love him with all my heart but dont want to go back to being depressed and suicidal. What should I do? Should I just keep being friends with him, or cut ties with him? Also he didn't want to talk to me for almost nine months and now he does what does that mean? Please help.

i think about the future with my love, the only thing that comes to my mine is her religion. I can accept that on the outside, but inside , it's hard for me to truly accept. I am more towards buddhism because of how i grew up and she is catholic and I've been to her Catholic Church many times. We been together for 3 years. We can't live a day without talking to each other and making each other laugh.

My friends paid for my lap dance. So we went to a private corner for my "no contact" lap dance. Well, I got aroused. There was no skin on skin contact ever, a little soft rubbing over clothes. During the session, I finished myself off via a little pocket pool. I then rubbed my hands under my shirt, creating a little stain. Well, she saw it while doing the laundry and confronted me about it. After about a minute of denying what it was, I came clean and confessed to the occurrence. She immediately began with the "I have no right" & "I owe her an apology" argument. I stood my ground saying I owe no apology, I did nothing wrong and no lines were crossed. Plus, I'm 33 yr old. The last time I was at a nudie bar was over ten years ago while active duty in the Marine Corps, I'm home every night by 4pm, don't drink & don't do drugs. I'm a simple family man with a 4 yr old son (previous marriage) that loves the home life, plus, this was my night, I wanted to have some harmless fun! Am I wrong?

have the energy to do other things not associated with the kids(getting up early on saturdays to go shopping, for example). Before all the women tell me to help with the kids let me say I do. I change diapers, get them ready for bed, give baths, and much more. We've had babysitters and gone out to dinner many times but then she goes to bed as soon as we get home. I know her self esteem is lowered because her body has changed but how many times do I have to tell her I still think she's beautiful. Im at my wits end. What could be the problem?

In behalf of my closest friend which is right beside me right now.. since she is not satisfy with the previous answers we've receive about her problem.
She is married yet she think she made the biggest mistake ever. Fooling herself to be with the man who become her husband. Fooling herself for she can't fight her feelings for the other guy whom she's deeply inlove with.
Now.. her husband outstands from amongst since he has all the following traits what a woman want. But there is no chemistry in between them. What is she doing is doing things in return for her husband for she has nothing to give to him in exchange for everything he did to her life to make it more convenient.
She want to bring her love back to her husband. However, no matter how she try... there is something that is hard to explain and she can't figure it out.
Right now..she is just stating her problem with me about her case. How she wished that she could be able to bring back time for her to make things right,

My ex wife and I have been divorced for about 2 years. She is moving about 45 minutes from where we currently live. We have 3 boys ages 17, 15 & 13. Our divorce decree specifically said that the kids must stay in the school district we live in now. She expects our 17 y/o son to provide transportation to and from school and school functions every day for him and the other two boys. The highway they must take to get to school is a two lane blacktop state highway and very curvy. I'm very worried that something may happen to them driving this far every day. Am I right to be concerned and will I have a good case for seeking full custody? I just want them Mon - Fri so they can get to school safely. She can have them on the weekends if she wants. I currently pay her $400/month for child support, which is very reasonable even though I have them 50% of the time.

We have been friends for 2 years now, and I like hanging out with her because she's quiet, unlike my other friends. But in two years I am still trying to get used to her ways. She comes from a very strict family(whenever we're out, Dad always calls to check on her), and her mom is sick. Also she and her sister hate each other, which I know there is sibling rivalry, but they are extreme. Anywho.. we were in the mall yesterday, and I heard a noise that scared us both and out of instinct I reached for her hand. She aggressively pulled away and it tugged at my heart strings a litte. She'll never hug me and she's told me that she's never told anyone at all that she loved them, not even family. I dont want to change her or anything, but is there a way I can get her to open up, or should I just not deal with her anymore? And also, am I maybe being too sensitive about the whole thing? I'm very affectionate with friends and family, so this is quite weird to me.

...at vacation resort... he is 19 years older (I am 27 & divorced) and has 4 children some of which almost my age and lost his wife a year ago after 20 years of a very happy marriage... he lives and has his own business in Canada and I am from center of Europe where my family lives and I have a great job... which makes everything so difficult of course... he is falling in love it seems too... I've been over to Canada and he is coming to Europe for the 1st time on my birthday...and it will be 6 months since we met for the 1st time.
My heart says "let's go" and my mind tells me "stop"... would you let yourself go further... falling in love without thinking what the future would be like because of all this "practical" issues and huge differencies... or would you end up the relationship even knowing that this is the love of your life? but what if he will never be able to love you as you love him, have children because he had it all already in his life...how do you know what is right ???

My boyfriend always checks out other girls in front of me. I understand that it's human nature to be attracted to others and even look once in a while but he does it ALL THE TIME. And he always stares at practically the same type of girls: blondes with mini skirts and their boobs hanging out. I told him to stop it and he's like you do it too and I said "No I don't" because I really don't look at other guys like that. It really makes me jealous, considering he looks at them up and down right in front of me. He doesn't even try to hide it, just does it so openly and it's getting really annoying. What should I do? I'm very much in love with him and I think he loves me too but he's immature.

There's this guy that was in my science and history class last year he kept staring at me. This year I see him 4-5 times a day in the hallway and he keeps staring at me. One day after school, I came down the steps and he was staring at me but there was other people downstairs too. But he decided to stare at me out of all the other people. Do he like me??
