A couple of people that I knew have made snarky comments about my single status. An example of a snarky comment came from a former guy friend who I used to have a somewhat complicated relationship with, he was engaged to be married and we had our last conversation and I said something jokingly about him getting married and he said, "don't hate on me cuz I'm in a relationship." I took that comment as snarky and that he was rubbing it in my face the fact I'm still single and wasn't dating anybody at the time. He went to to say that he moved on and that I "need to move on and find somebody," "I'm afraid that I have broken your heart," Very condescending. 3 yrs ago, this overweight girl was newly married was asking me a couple of nosy questions about my singleness, "are you married?" "Do you have a boyfriend?" etc. Why do ppl think that they're superior cuz they're in a relationship while making single people feel inferior?

I have been married for little over12 years now. My husband took a job that has moved him to another state(kids and I are staying til our house sells, then joining him). Ever since he moved, he has been acting distant, in a hurry to get off the phone, taking out large sums of cash out of the acct and turning off his cell phone. When I ask why he took out so much cash he said he wanted it for spending money. That was a week ago, it's already been spent. He refuses to tell me what he spent it on and says he needs to go. He usually never goes out by himself, but lately goes to a bar"by himself" to drink(he doesn't drink often) and smoke cigars, oh and his phone was turned off. Says his phone dies all the time and he's not turning it off. Am I crazy or does it sound like he is cheating? We have 3 kids and I don't know what to do. I love him, want to our marriage to work, but I don't think he does. He says I am just being insecure and paranoid. Am I? Why all the lies and sneaking?

this pain is not getting any better, its getting worse. I was really close to my grandma, i saw her almost everyday of my life, i even took care of her when she was at home, i would get her something to eat, get her meds, help her to get into bed and out, and if needed help her get dressed, i love my grandma to death, and i never wanted to loose her. Will this pain get better? why do i still have the image of her laying in the ICU dead? and dont be a effin jerk and leave a disrespectful comment, b/c my grandma is way to speical to be disrepected on.

i have a frontal lob disabilty i was in a three year relastionship the frist year we went out and had fun the last two years i stared to realize he was making up lies to get me to come over to his house for only a few hours cuz then he had to leave or or he would say we will hang out later we never did then he would say it was just cuz he had a long day and he needed to sleep he would tell me i need to come over before we could go out then i realized we never ended up going anywhere or went anywhere with friends and family even now he asks me to come to his house i stoped going cuz it was getting wired it was also wired cuz he called me his gilrfriend but we never did anything toghther.

Hi all

i was at work recently and i showed my female work-mate all the bottles of water that i had drank during this 8 hour shift (must of been like 5 bottles of water!) and she replied 'that is why you have nice skin' and i said thank you (what a lovely compliment!) and she said 'i havent though, my skin is all blushy'

Question(s)...

1. For her to say that, do all women notice guys with nice skin?
2. Was that a sign of flirting? Does she feel attraction to me?

me and my boyfriend have been arguing all day and he can be a little mean sometimes today he said that im stupid and that he doesnt want to get our home we have recently rented! then this afternoon he had a little trouble and snapped at me again he over reacts to every thing and i wind up crying cause he hurts my feelings we'v talked about it and he says hes sorry and i ask him not to do it again but he does, what shall i do im in love with him we r engaged and i cant seem to get it through to him that he can be hurtful at times,, help!!!!!!!!!!!!

how to you make an 84 yr old man understand that if he invades your space, your going to mace him? my grandfather want my to take a lock off of my bedroom door, and i told him i dont give a damn what he wants, then he says he will take it off him self. then i say anyone who tries to break in my room will get a face full of mace. i dont think he understands how much nobody like him right now, example his own kid wont even come and visit him, they only come over when they need money or something. and that if he tries to get in my room he will get a face full of mace or worse. any one have any ideas on how to make him understand or should i just mace him. and say try it again and i will mace you again? i need answers asap.

ok so she use to be my best friend in 8th grade but then we stopped hanging out since we went to different high schools. anyways turns out we both had the same friend so we became friends again hanging out on the weekends but we just arent as close as we use to be.
NEGATIVE reason why i dont want to go to the party
1. She didnt really grow up and i have we are diff. people then just dont get along like we use to
2. i dont have a ride home from her party and i would have to ride my brothers bike to and from which would be together 3 miles riding home at night.
3. I dont have money for a present dont want to use my moms $
4. its a swimming party and i hate the way i look in a bathing suit
5. I dont want to end up at the party and have no one to talk to
Positive reasons on going to the part
1. I get to see some of my old friends possibly
2. it could be a fun party

i would like to go but im just so unsure, what do you think?

after 19 days away due to bussiness commitments,I was supossed to go back home tommmorrow but now my boss is saying wednesday.I phoned my wife and told her,thus she started crying and weeping over the phone and is claiming that she is very lonely.How best can I comfort her so that she sleeps well tonight? Please share your answers with me to enlighten me on this subject about when making Friends, bfs, gfs; does anyone else tend to "form" a pattern of making friends with certain people who end up being NOT-so-good influences on us, where they "let us down" where we get hurt in some way, AND we continue to meet those of this nature?
How would you "go about" breaking this "mold" ???? How would you change this situation within yourself?

I'm 13. My parents are divorced and my mom has started dating my dad's ex-best friend, lets call him Joe, who recently screwed my dad over. When I'm not there, she's living over his house, and when I am, we're over almost every day. She has her own dresser there, all of our board games, movies, and our stereo system. At night, I'm sent to bed at 10 so Joe can come over, and we don't spend any time together. And they've only been datin 3 MONTHS!

I can't sleep at night, cry all the time, and have depressive behavior at school. These are all completely unlike me. I've tried to talk to my mom about it, but she is cold and says i'm being 'selfish', then goes back and tells Joe the whole conversation we had.

Meanwhile, my dad says that i should move in with him during the week, so it won't screw up my schoolwork. I know it's probably best for me because i just can't handle it, but its going to be the hardest and worst moment of my life. My mom and i used to be best friends.

As children my siblings & I suffered abuse from our father, more hurtful was the ingnorance of our mum, the fact she never stopped him or protected us. Shes divorced him & ever since she's acted like a victim, she's completely self involved and only remembers her pain. My brother and sis have little at all to do with her, nor do I, only our youngest sis sees her on a day to day basis. Last night it was her birthday and as usual the drunken conversation drifted to talking about "him" I must point out that my little sister raised the issue, not me. My mum started saying stuff about our past that was complete lies, she basically rewrote our history, I should of walked out but i'm stubborn and had to put her right, I ended the night talking my big sister and she told me my mum thinks i'm really screwed up because i keep "keep causing arguements" about it. I'm so mad at her, its never me that raises the issue but I cant not argue back with her when shes lieing!what do i do?

i had a gf whom i never felt as love with what the word means but we were very good friends i mean very very very much that we were living together for more than 2 years ( 24 / 24 hours ) we used to travel work chill make out drink and get high and every thing that u might think of ,,,,
now i aint talkin to her cuz she is not replying on me or talkin or answering my calls ( she left me for another guy out of a sudden ) and now i started to feel that i love her so much without knowing this fact cuz in the last period when we were together we never had any fights all the relation ship period and i never missed her not even once ( as never been alone without her )

Okay, i need help. Here is a short version. ABout 6 yrs ago i was going out with my first bf, i loved him to death, and 1 yr into the relationship he got arrested and sentenced for 5 yrs (when he was out he use to disappear once in a while) anyways while the time he was in jail we use to talk, i use to go and see him. 2 yrs 1/2 into his sentence i met a guy, and we started dating. i did so, to keep me company, but i fell in love and after the years we got engaged, (we have been engaged for 2 yrs, and also living with him) i have been with my fiancee for 4yrs. and all of those yrs i have thought about my previous boyfriend, and i did everything in my hand to forget about him, but always thought about him. 2 months ago he finally called me, (he is out now) i went to see him, we had sex, he knew i had a couple, and he does too, and we did it anyways. b4 i went to see him which was about 2 weeks, he use to call me everyday, now after that, doesnt call not once. he is hiding? what to do?
