Because teenagers are afraid to do something other than what's "cool" at the time. You look at TV nowadays, and all the girls are tiny peroxide cases that need to eat a hamburger. There are guys out there who would probably rather be with a girl like you but are too damn brainwashed by TV and fears of "not being cool" to do anything about it yet.
When I was in high school, I was one of those guys. I've always known I liked thick girls (not fat, but thick) better than the the skinny ones, but the girl I dated throughout high school was a toothpick. I was the star of the hockey team and first-string on the football team and I thought I "had" to be with a girl like this, or else I might lose my popularity. When I hit my senior year, I realized how stupid it was and started dating who I wanted. From what I know, I'm not alone in this.
Guys who are really into girls like you are going to start realizing how stupid they're being as they mature. Just give it time.

Sweet heart, boys are dummies they only go for what they see. I think that when the hormones slow down they will see more about a person. But now it is strictly horney boys. Don't take it personally. I went through that I got guys to flirt with me but was always the wrong ones, I hurt some of them and dog some because I too was going for the ones that thought I was invisible. I soon got older and they got older and hey there eyes started looking up at my face instead of boo. well think about it do you want a guy that looks at you for what look like or both, what you have to offer.hope this helps.

Well I think it really depends on the guy. Also it has to do with the cultural setting. I've noticed that australians tend to like brunettes, canadians tend to like blondes, and americans...well I'm not too sure. But ya I think its whatever is considered "rare" in society that is viewed as the ultimate "look". The media also adds on to it. And it also depends on a guy's personal taste. Everyone is different and maybe you just need to go out more cause there are many guys out there who are not at all like that.

Love me some Latina women, love me some white women too. No preference, except in bed, oh my, Latina women are great in that area, especially when they say things like "papi", and "ay que rico". Latina women have always understood my dumb humor as well. I dunno if everything I said constitutes as me having a preference since I've mainly dated white women but I do very much so like Latinas. It's just a lot of Latinas are very very very and I mean VERY beautiful and that can be intimidating sometimes. Not to me, but there are a lot of white dudes that will be.

Same in my school. but you have to get out there. If you are in high school then the guys are very shallow about what they find is hot, they will open up as they get older, it's about what they see in the media right now. But I snag pretty hot guys that are punk and white and I'm black/Hispanic....and a total prep. You have to be friendly and relate and look your best.

Blondie, skinny, tiny white girls are the basic stereotype that guys like. That is just the way it is...it's life. There is nothing you can do.
Though there are thousands of guys who do like you just they way you are...and some even go to your school. The only problem is YOU don't like them and would never give any of them a chance.

Unfortunately, in our society blonde, white and skinny has been showcased as being a beauty standard. Most people cannot decide what's beautiful without the media telling them. Trust me, it goes farther than the issues in your school.

Ok, so to answer your question: Well, haven't you noticed that most white guys like white girls, and most black guys like black girls? It's just the way it is, I guess, because they just feel more comfortable with people who look like them.
It's not exactly a racist thing.
I'm not really sure why guys like tiny skinny blondes...I guess it's just fashionable to be thin, and perfect like supermodels, whick is unrealistic, obviously. I'm sure you've heard lots of this stuff from people like Dr. Phil.
Anyway, just be really nice and open, and you'll attract a guy who's not so shallow! You wouldn't want to go out with any of those hormone driven sex fiends anyway, would you?

omg!!! thats totally mine situation! i just dont get it! But i know the answer.. Actually all those skinny "hot" girls are really stupid, thats why teenage guys prefer them.. cos they do wat guys tell them 2 do.. So its easy 2 hook up with them ect.. But guys that are searching for a serious relationship its like (18+) actually prefer normal girls... Smart, cute ect.. the girls with the soul, and their own mind lol U know... So we dont have any choice... Only sit and wait for a Mr.Right... But dont worry Im sure there is 1 searching for you!!! :) Just be patient! :):):)

You must be in a sheltered northern part of the country. I go to school with blacks, whites, arabs, mexicans, asians, you name it! And most of the guys prefer us biracial girls. Or just attractive girls in general, hair color or skin color doesn't matter.
